Living in nature, appreciating and being grateful for the wonders of the landscape, is beautiful. As beautiful as it is to find the beauty of nature in every inch of space that daily life gives us.

These years of confinement forced by the pandemic, although they have limited use in terms of outdoor activities, can not under any circumstances, make us stop admiring and appreciating what nature gives us.

I used to stop at a local beach in the city where I live on my way home from work. It was a very beautiful and special moment of relaxation that gave my spirit the peace it needed at the end of a hectic workday.

The contact with the sea air, the sand of the beach, the people admiring and enjoying nature at that moment, was a wonderful moment that I miss from my old routines.

However, as they say, that life goes on, we must adapt to the circumstances, trying not to lose the beautiful things of the time that is passing. Enjoying nature is one of them. As far as possible, I always do it from my home.

Vivir al natural, apreciando y agradeciendo las maravillas del paisaje, es hermoso. Así como hermoso también es encontrar lo bonito de esa naturaleza en cada centímetro de espacio que nos obsequia la vida diaria.

Estos años de encierro forzado por la pandemia, si bien nos han limitado en cuanto a las actividades al aire libre, no pueden bajo ningún concepto, hacer que dejemos de admirar y agradecer lo que la naturaleza nos regala.

Antes solía, cuando regresaba de mi día de trabajo, hacer una parada en una playa de una localidad en la ciudad donde vivo. Era un rato de relajación muy hermoso, especial y que le aportaba a mi espíritu, esa paz necesaria al finalizar un día de trabajo agitado.

El contacto con el aire marino, la arena de la playa, la gente admirando y disfrutando de la naturaleza en ese instante, era un momento maravilloso que extraño de mis rutinas de antes.

Sin embargo, como bien dicen por ahí que la vida continúa, debemos adaptarnos a las circunstancias, tratando de no perder las cosas bonitas de la época que va pasando. Disfrutar de la naturaleza es una de ellas. En la medida de lo posible siempre lo hago desde mi hogar.

As I already mentioned once, my house has a large patio where some species of birds live together. It is delightful to enjoy their singing when the day is just beginning to dawn.

They live in and go from one tree to another, from their own and neighboring yards. In the mamon tree that shelters on one side of my house, many life, among them parrots, doves, and the Cristofué. I have even seen hummingbirds a few times in the aloe vera plants in the garden.

It is delightful to see them flying from one side of the yard to the other, touring the trees. In the mornings when I go down to the patio first thing in the morning, of course, I am greeted by Trueno José (my little dog) with a great joy that fills me with tenderness.

Cómo ya lo referí una vez, mi casa tiene un patio amplio dónde conviven algunas especies de pájaros. Es delicioso disfrutar de su canto cuando el día va apenas asomándose.

Ellos habitan y van de un árbol a otro, de los propios y de los patios vecinos. En el árbol de mamón que cobija a un lado de mi casa, viven muchos, entre ellos loritos, palomas y los Cristofué. He llegado a ver colibríes algunas veces en las plantas de sábila del jardín.

Es delicioso verlos volar de un lado al otro del patio, recorriendo los árboles. En las mañanas cuando bajo al patio a primera hora, por supuesto me recibe Trueno José (mi perrito) con una gran alegría que me llena de ternura.

From there I walk and admire the sky, grateful for the beautiful sunrises I wake up to here at home. I thank God for the view from my deck and patio. The skies are a part of nature that is my delirium.

I don't know how many photos of sunsets and sunrises, and also of the moon, rest in my archives. It is an uncontrollable emotion to live that moment and make it eternal with my cell phone camera.

De allí camino y admiro el cielo, agradeciendo los lindos amaneceres con los que me despierto aquí en casa. Doy gracias a Dios por la vista desde mi terraza y el patio. Los cielos son una parte de la naturaleza que son mi delirio.

No sé cuántas fotos de atardeceres y amaneceres y también de la luna, reposan en mis archivos. Es una emoción incontrolable vivir ese momento y hacerlo eterno con la cámara de mi teléfono celular.
