La imagen de la semana me trae recuerdos de sentimientos vividos me lleva a momentos críticos que pasamos en nuestro país, debido a la situación país, económica y por efectos de la pandemia covid-19 , donde muchos comerciantes se vieron en la obligación de bajar las santamaría de sus negocios para siempre, para muchos su único sustento, recuerdo los pasillos de los centros comerciales específicamente Monagas Plaza y Parque Morichal antiguo sigo en Maturín, creo que fueron algunos de los más afectados por no mencionar pequeños comerciantes que también se fueron a la quiebra total, cuando me tocaba ir por alguna razón me llenaba de ansiedad y nostalgia, ver pasillos vacíos, en silencio, locales empapelados indicando que ya se acabó, locales aún abiertos pero liquidando mercancía para bajar sus santamaria, otros abrían casi por obligación ya que no había clientela pero eran obligados por la gerencia del centro comercial a mantenerse abiertos ya que multaban a los dueños de negocios que estaban activos y cerrados, los vigilantes tomaban fotos y los enviaba a la gerencia.

También me trae a la mente a mi hermana ella es comerciante de toda su vida hace poco tuvo que cerrar su negocio aunque la situación económica volvió a agarrar auge no pudo mantenerse activa, el pago de servicios como empleados, vigilantes, aseo, luz y demás impuestos hicieron que su negocio ya no sea rentable, traía más pérdidas que ganancias y mucha preocupación generando malestar emocional, físico y mental en mi hermana, le está costando entender que es lo mejor para su salud, pero junto a sus hijos lograron aceptar que cerrar ese ciclo es la mejor opción y buscar otra alternativa más viable.
