These days have been tense in my country, so it's inevitable to feel anxious, so to help calm things down I started working on a keychain for my wallet.

En esta oportunidad les quiero compartir un llavero para cartera, bolso, o simplemente donde lo quieran colocar como colgante, se trata de un Ojo turco utilizando limpiapipas, este amuleto que es llevado por muchas personas como símbolo de protección ante malas energías.

This time I want to share with you a keychain for your wallet, purse, or simply wherever you want to hang it. It's a Turkish Eye made with pipe cleaners. This amulet is worn by many people as a symbol of protection against bad energies.

Es súper fácil y económico de realizar, queda muy bonito y por su puesto que de una vez se lo puse a la cartera a ver como luce, a continuación les muestro los materiales y el paso a paso.

It's super easy and inexpensive to make, it looks very nice and of course I immediately put it on my wallet to see how it looks. Below I show you the materials and the step-by-step instructions.

Paso a paso / Step by step

El primer paso que voy a realizar será cortar un círculo de cartulina o también puedes utilizar un cartón de mayor grosor, además tú decides el tamaño.

The first step I'm going to take is to cut a circle out of cardboard, or you can also use thicker cardboard; you decide the size.

Ahora voy enrollar los limpiapipas a utilizar previamente en un palillo, colocamos un pequeño circulo en color negro en el centro, pegamos con silicón, luego unimos el color azul claro.

Now I'm going to wrap the pipe cleaners to be used previously around a toothpick, place a small black circle in the center, glue it with silicone, then join the light blue color.

Ahora voy a pegar el color blanco solo debes ir girando el limpiapipas y verás como va tomando forma, una vez que termines con el blanco vamos con el azul rey.

Cubrimos toda la parte delantera, ahora voy a doblar un pequeño trozo de limpiapipas y lo pegamos en la parte superior, comenzamos a cubrir con el mismo azul la parte trasera hasta alcanzar su totalidad.

Now I'm going to glue on the white. Just keep twisting the pipe cleaner and you'll see it take shape. Once you're done with the white, we'll move on to the royal blue.

We'll cover the entire front. Now I'm going to fold a small piece of pipe cleaner and glue it to the top. We'll start covering the back with the same blue until it's completely covered.

Puedes cubrir el borde con más limpiapipas para definir bien esa parte, luego retiramos el exceso de pelusa con adhesivo transparente y unimos a la cadena.

You can cover the edge with more pipe cleaners to define that part well, then remove the excess lint with clear adhesive and attach it to the chain.
