Day 1

Did my workout this morning. I'd been working out pretty regularly the past year so I figured this one was going to be easy, in a manner of speaking. Ya, I was wrong. Of course there were burpees in the workout and if you ask anyone who has done burpees before, they would probably tell you they would sell their soul to the devil to never do them again. But that's just being dramatic. Had a protein shake for breakfast, stuck a straw in it to try to disguise it as a tasty shake you would buy at Starbucks. I'm sure you are very surprised to hear that didn't work. But I will say that i'm feeling really good. And I'm feeling confident that the next 30 days are gonna be awesome....ly crappy. IMG_20170831_073600.jpg I just have to say when I see people post pictures of their protein shake saying "love my protein shake! So tasty", I'm calling their bluff. But at least I'm starting day 1 on a good note.

I really am feeling confident though. I'm not letting the thought of possibly failing or giving up enter my mind. I already know what it feels like to quit, now I want to see what happens when I don't.
