Hello Hive community, Marian here. Today I would like to share my thoughts on my experience in the first class of the audiovisual school behind the camera.
Alguna vez vi una serie donde se explicaba esta idea del “efecto mariposa”, la cual tiene origen en la famosa teoría del caos que tiene como premisa que algo tan minúsculo como el aleteo de una mariposa tiene consecuencias desproporcionadas, y en ese momento algo hizo “clic” en mi cabeza. La verdad, había estado pasando una mala racha.
I once saw a series that explained this idea of the “butterfly effect,” which originates from the famous chaos theory that posits that something as tiny as the flutter of a butterfly's wings can have disproportionate consequences, and at that moment something clicked in my head. Truthfully, I had been going through a rough patch.
Me inscribí en un curso de recreación. Spoiler: no salió bien y me fui el primer día. No estoy segura si no era lo mío, pero simplemente fue el destino actuando (quiero pensar así porque gasté mucho dinero en la inscripción xd).
I signed up for a recreation course. Spoiler alert: it didn't go well, and I left on the first day. I'm not sure if it just wasn't my thing, but I'd like to think it was simply fate at work (because I spent a lot of money on the registration fee xd).
Así fue como un día, andando por Instagram, encontré la promo de este curso intensivo. Pensé que esto era lo que necesitaba y de esta manera llegué a la conclusión de que todo había actuado a mi favor para terminar aquí.
That's how one day, while scrolling through Instagram, I came across the promotion for this intensive course. I thought this was what I needed, and that's how I came to the conclusion that everything had worked out in my favor to end up here.
Mi primer día de clases fue una experiencia única. Me sentí bastante bienvenida desde el primer momento, sentí que pertenecía a ese lugar; al mirar al profesor me dio una cierta confianza para lograr desenvolverme con todos.
My first day of class was a unique experience. I felt very welcome from the start, I felt like I belonged there; looking at the teacher gave me a certain confidence to get along with everyone.
La primera clase me pareció bastante informativa y divertida. A pesar de recibir mucha información, se me hizo fácil de digerir; de hecho, sentí que el tiempo pasó muy rápido y, aunque estaba muy a gusto, había mucho frío (todos denunciamos el aire acondicionado del lugar xd).
I found the first class quite informative and fun. Despite receiving a lot of information, I found it easy to digest; in fact, I felt that time flew by, and although I was very comfortable, it was very cold (we all complained about the air conditioning in the room xd).
En rasgos generales, la clase me encantó tanto que llegué a mi casa con ganas de más, esperando el próximo sábado.
Overall, I loved the class so much that I came home wanting more, looking forward to next Saturday.
Me gustaría pensar que este es el inicio de una nueva etapa en mi vida, con nuevas metas, aspiraciones, sueños y una capacidad de traspasar mis límites.
I would like to think that this is the beginning of a new stage in my life, with new goals, aspirations, dreams, and the ability to push my limits.
Deseo seguir avanzando en este camino para ver qué sucede en un futuro.
I want to continue on this path to see what happens in the future.
