Hoy les traigo un cover de una canción que tiene rato rodando por ahí de la maravillosa RAYE "Where is my Husband?
Creo que las letras de las canciones mientras mejores mensajes tengan para el oyente, más valiosas son, porque es muy importante lo que transmitimos a la audiencia.
Aunque también es valido usar la música como fuente de expresión, para desahogarnos, y para decir eso que tanto nos cuesta. Creo que este tema es uno de esos donde la compositora no quiso dar un mensaje, solo necesitaba exteriorizar todos esos sentimientos que la estaban consumiendo.
Aunque en la letra no lo dice, al final del video musical de la canción RAYE nos deja un mensaje muy importante: "Encuéntrate a ti misma, y el amor te encontrará!"
Cuantas veces no pasa que en la busqueda del amor nos perdemos a nosotros mismos?
Este mensaje me dejó reflexionando...
Ahora hablando de la música como tal, me encanta el arreglo musical! El juego de las voces, los metales, siento que son varios géneros juntos, con instrumentación de big band y toques de rap. Me encanta la propuesta!

Today I'm bringing you a cover of a song that's been circulating for a while now, "Where is my Husband?" by the wonderful RAYE.
I'm a firm believer that the better the message a song's lyrics have for the listener, the more valuable they are, because what we transmit to the audience is so important. However, it's also valid to use music as a source of expression, to vent, and to say what's so difficult for us to say. I think this song is one of those where the songwriter didn't intend to deliver a message; she just needed a piece of paper to pour out all those feelings that were consuming her.
Although it's not explicitly stated in the lyrics, at the end of the music video, RAYE leaves us with a very important message: "Find yourself, and love will find you!" How often does it happen that in the search for love we lose ourselves? This message made me reflect...
Now, speaking of the music itself, I love the musical arrangement! The interplay of the voices, the brass instruments—I feel they are... Several genres combined, with big band instrumentation and touches of rap. I love the concept!
