I'm back with more street photographs and I hope that through these photos you can get a glimpse of this city in Venezuela. Hopefully you find them as interesting as I do and realize that Venezuela, despite all its problems, is still a country full of life and very friendly people. So the first photos I'll share feature its people.
I found it very impactful to see such an elderly lady sweeping the street. I suppose this is already a habit for her and I imagine it will be one of her ways to stay active. From her clothing we can realize that it is very likely that the lady lived very close by and simply wanted to keep her space clean.
Estoy de vuelta con mas fotografías callejeras y espero que a través de estas fotos puedan dar un vistazo a esta ciudad en Venezuela, ojala les parezcan tan interesantes como a mi y puedan darse cuenta de que Venezuela, a pesar de todos sus problemas, sigue siendo un país lleno de vida y de gente muy amable. Así que las primeras fotos que les compartiré tienen como protagonistas sus personas.
Me pareció muy impactante ver a una señora de tanta edad barriendo la calle, supongo que esto ya es un habito para ella y me imagino que será una de sus maneras para mantenerse activa. Por su vestimenta podemos darnos cuenta de que es muy probable que la señora viviera muy cerca de allí y simplemente quería mantener su espacio limpio.
I took this photo at sunset and I liked how the ray of sunshine looked, plus the urban atmosphere of the photo:

I've always said it, it's too smart to carry an umbrella to protect yourself from the harsh sun, even though it sounds very logical, it's something very few people do!
Siempre lo he dicho, es demasiado inteligente llevar un paraguas para protegerse del sol inclemente, aun que suena muy lógico es algo que muy pocas personas hacen!
I took the following two photos on different days and in different places, but both have the same meaning and the same feeling: Faith.
Las siguientes dos fotos las tomé en días distintos y en lugares distintos pero ambas tienen el mismo sentido y el mismo sentimiento: Fé.
I took the following two photos in the park. I took the first photo because I liked how the park looked full of people, full of life, and for the composition I used the leading lines on the floor.
Las siguientes dos fotos las tomé en el parque, la primera foto la hice porque me gustó como se veía el parque lleno de personas, lleno de vida y para la composición utilicé las lineas guías en el piso.
I took the next photo because I thought that car looked too cool. I think it's the first time I've seen it in this city:
La siguiente foto la tomé porque me pareció demasiado cool ese carro, creo que es la primera vez que lo veo en esta ciudad:
And now it's time for the photographs of the urban environment, which is something I also like to photograph since no city is the same and no street is identical to another.
In this city we have very steep streets and sometimes that thing creates the opportunity to take good photos like this one, where we can follow the street with our eyes until it disappears...
Y ahora es turno para las fotografías del ambiente urbano, que es algo que tambien me gusta fotografiar ya que ninguna ciudad es igual y ninguna calle es identica a la otra.
En esta ciudad tenemos calles muy empinadas y aveces eso mismo crea la oportunidad para hacer unas buenas fotos como esta, en donde podemos seguir con la mirada la calle hasta que se pierde...

I took the next photo because I liked how that street looked so full of nature and I used leading lines as a composition method:

I took the next photo because I liked the look of this house, a bit deteriorated, but the trailer and the old car make me feel that this house has many stories to tell.
La siguiente foto la tomé porque me gustó el aspecto que tenia esta casa, un poco deteriorado pero el trailer y el carro antiguo me hacen sentir que esta casa tiene muchas historias por contar.
In another part of the city I photographed the facade of a clinic. It seemed a bit surreal that it looked so normal, knowing what I know, that in this country the medical service is of very poor quality.
En otra parte de la ciudad fotografié la fachada de un centro clínico, me pareció un poco surrealista que se venia tan normal, sabiendo lo que sé, que en este país el servicio medico es de muy pésima calidad.
Pharmacy sign, that sign indicates that the pharmacy works 24 hours. I liked how it looked with the buildings in the background.
Letrero de una farmacia, ese letrero nos indica que la farmacia trabaja 24 horas, me gustó como se veía con los edificios al fondo.
Very close to where I took the previous photos I found this small space outside a bakery, it looked very nice...
Muy cerca de donde hice las fotos anteriores me encontré este pequeño espacio fuera de una panadería, se veía muy bonito...
