Hey!
As you already know photography is a big part of my life and I spend hours of capturing moments. Along with this, I have a huge fevour for sunsets.
Shooting sunset is one of the best feelings for me. This little timeframe between the sun setting, a orange burning sky and afterwards a twilight, is just amazing. Within a few minutes the whole enviroment changes and falls asleep. Sometimes you need to be at the right time at the right place. I know how often I missed a breathtaking sunset. Either I had no camera with me or I was sitting in school. In these moments life sucks. And some other days I go out and prepare for a nice sunset on a great location, and what happens? Clouds approach and the colours aren't beautiful.
Especially in this case you aren't allowed to give up. There is always coming a sky with nice colours but sometimes you just have to try it a few times. You will always get a shot you want so bad, some of the time it takes a little bit longer.
St. Stephen's Cathedral
The cathedral is a viennese landmark. It was built in a gothic style in the 12th century. Its highest point reaches 136m.Let's go on a roof, they said. It'll be fun, they said. Seeing the sky burning and the city right below you is one of those moments you are happy that you keep doing your things. It's an indescribable feeling. Sitting above all the other people, who are in a rush. When the honking cars seemed to disappear, the noise gets quiet and you escape reality. Just trapped in the colours. And all of a sudden the world seems to be stopped. And all the problems seem to fade out.
Lake Neusiedl
Lake Neusiedl is one of Austria's biggest lakes. This area is part of the UNESCO world heritage. It is a popular excursion destination for families and nature photographer. In summer you can go swimming and if it's cold enough, you have the opportunity to go ice skating on the lake in winter. This lighthouse is a pretty admired photo scene, thus I wanted to be my picture a little bit different. Huge thanks to my friend jumping around, while all the other tourists were staring.
