Yes, I know... here we go again with a new QZD Blocks! But as I told you in my previous post, this has already become a real obsession. And today, more than ever, I come to appeal to nostalgia with one of the most beloved characters in the gamer world: the great Mario!
Sí, lo sé… ¡otra vez por aquí con un nuevo QZD Blocks! Pero como les conté en mi post anterior, esto ya se volvió una obsesión real. Y hoy, más que nunca, vengo a apelar a la nostalgia con uno de los personajes más queridos del mundo gamer: ¡el gran Mario!
This set was a delight to put together. It's super colorful, and in my experience, that always helps. The bright colors not only make it more eye-catching, but also make the process so much easier. Each piece seemed to fall right into place, and with the instructional in hand, it was like following the map of a classic game level.
Este set fue una delicia de armar. Es súper colorido, y en mi experiencia, eso siempre ayuda. Los colores vivos no solo lo hacen más llamativo, sino que también facilitan muchísimo el proceso. Cada pieza parecía caer justo en su lugar, y con el instructivo en mano, fue como seguir el mapa de un nivel clásico del juego.
While I was putting it together, I couldn't help but remember the endless afternoons in front of my Nintendo, trying to rescue the princess, dodge turtles and crush Goombas. What a great time those were! Now I only need to put Luigi together to complete the dynamic duo of video games.
Mientras lo armaba, no podía evitar recordar las tardes infinitas frente a mi Nintendo, intentando rescatar a la princesa, esquivar tortugas y aplastar Goombas. ¡Qué tiempos aquellos! Ya solo me falta armar a Luigi para completar el dúo dinámico de los videojuegos.
Size-wise, this Mario is very similar to the Captain America I put together earlier. But a funny thing happened: I finished it faster! You can tell I'm getting the hang of it.
En cuanto al tamaño, este Mario es muy similar al Capitán América que armé anteriormente. Pero algo curioso pasó: ¡lo terminé más rápido! Se nota que ya le voy agarrando el ritmo a esto.
My collection keeps growing and I'm getting more and more excited thinking about the next models.
