RESPECT
So the PRESIDENT Is your best friend. That mean you should stand when he is entering a meeting when every other person is standing?
Or why you have to talk to him in his office with officials around.
The Residing leader of your church or mosque or religious center, is your dad, fine. Is that why you don't open your bible, Quran, etc, when he is on the pulpit?
The President of your fellowship on campus is your coursemate, is that why you don't keep your mouth shut when he is advising you??
The owner of that big company you're working with is your Brother, is that why you don't listen to instructions from him during the work hours??
The HOD of your department is your Uncle, is that why you don't read very well to Pass that course??
Because you know someone personally doesn't mean you should disrespect their office.
Familiarity is good, yes if you know someone that's holding a big office, you have this special favour naturally but that doesn't mean you don't give them full respect when it's called for.
You don't go about doing your on thing when that person in office gives you a command or tells you to do something.
You don't sit when you're suppose to stand because the person coming in is your best friend from childhood.
Give everyone the respect he or she deserves irrespective of the relationship you have with the person.
In official situations, give him or her that respect everyone gives him.
Even God will be Happy with you if you respect people in high position.
Be guided well, don't let your close relationship with someone impede your blessing from that person, it's suppose to be a stepping stone to your blessing but if you keep telling the world that you're too familiar with this person that you can't respect him in official situations, then I'm sorry, you might not get anything good from that person.
I admire people who don't see the relationship they have with people in authority when they are doing their official duties. It's the right thing to do.
