Have you ever seen a fly under 10X microscope? Here it is:

  6. Lens Settings: iso100, 1/4, f4
  7. Stack # : 80, 180,
  8. Lighting :2 leds with DIY diffuser
  9. NOTES : 3 stacks, step size for 2X- 0.15mm, 10X-0.01mm, soft: Zerene Stacker, Aftereffects, Garageband.

That's how it will look if no such things as Depth Of Field exist, when you see whole object in focus. Usual fly, which everyone once saw with bare eyes look as surprise under high magnification.
