A beautiful little songbird - a robin, or, as it is called, a robin redbreast, does not like the winter colds of central Russia and usually goes on a trip to the shores of North Africa and the Middle East for the winter.

But in the Moscow Botanical Garden of Academy of Sciences there was one brave bird who decided to stay for the winter. Fortunately, this year the winter turned out to be warm in Europe with rare sub-zero temperatures, and the robin did not have to be too tight.

The robin chose a good place near the feeders. And how can you not notice such a wonderful fluffy ball? Frozen in the cold with a bright orange spot on her chest, she attracts attention and gets a tidbit of seeds.

Thanks to its striking appearance and complaisant nature, the robin became the main winter photo star of the Botanical Garden.
