Steemit is not the place it was. (No, it's not negative, it's a subjective opinion).

I see it each day, morphing from a social media focus to a purely financial instrument tool.

Here's the bad news for those not wishing to face the truth...

UNTIL all the steem has been produced( i.e without any new steem being created), then the financial instrument that everyone is partaking in - is the same model of crony capitalism that got us into this shit in the first place.

Merit is not the metric, but financial manipulation to maximize profit most certainly is.

Bid bots? People taking something that isn't theirs to make money from it.(the steem reward pool).
(Bankers anyone?)

This has nothing to do with creative talent, but manipulative use of something that doesn't belong to them to make money from.
Playing politics, and sucking up has more value than creating..
