Hello, welcome to my page and to Lifescape Tribe's Night Photography Contest: Round 6
The nighttime is often a great time to capture beautiful and captivating photos. Whenever I'm out in the night, I usually seize the opportunity to capture the moment on camera, just like I did few weeks ago.
While waiting for a tricycle on a chilly, rainy night, I noticed a peculiar sight on the street light just close to where I stood. The street light, with its fluorescent glow, had become a host to almost hundreds of flying creatures.
As they swarmed around the fluorescent bulb, their movements were like sparks of magic illuminating the night. For a moment, I felt like I was in wonderland, and the street light, a magic wand which was casting a spell of light and wonder over the dark surroundings.
Although it was a fascinating sight to watch, I had to step farther away from there to avoid being bitten by the flies, as their bites can be both painful and irritating to the body. I've experienced one of such bites before and I tell you, it wasn't funny.
So the best bet is to always keep a safe distance while still appreciating such sights.
