Social Media Challenge | How to play in a mirror match with Death Splinters! 😉

2025-03-14T20:50:00

Overview

Today I brought a Wild battle, where their was not too much option choose from as a Splinter, so it was quite big chance for a mirror match. I liked the rulesets which I got and I have to try to come up with something different than my opponent, but I think it will be a close game! 😇

My upcoming Battle ruleset(s)

|Ruleset|Description| |-|-| |**Healed Out**|*All healing abilities are removed from Monsters and Summoners.*| |**Fog of War**|*Monsters lose the Sneak and Snipe abilities.*| |**Melee Mayhem**|*Melee attack Monsters can attack from any position.*|
The mana cap for my next battle is 32, which is not that much considering that I need to bring mostly melee attack monsters if I want to take advantage of the Melee Mayhem ruleset, which means that all of the melee attack monsters were able to attack from any position in the lineup. 😲
The Super Sneak helps a bit to setup my lineup, because I do not need to worry about incoming damage, which will target my last monster (using Sneak ability) or the first ranged, magic or non-attack monster (using Snipe ability) in my lineup. 😉
The Healed Out is not that big of a deal, but it helps me to ditch the Life Splinter completely, because they have some really good Healers and they wouldn't be able to use any of their Healing abilities in this battle. 😊

My opponent brought Thaddius Brood, who is also a Death Summoner and his power is to decrease all the magic attacks and health of my monsters by one. 😒
In the first round my Trapp Falloway made a huge attack against their tank who also reflected two damage back to him, but this allowed my Cursed Windeku to kill him easily. 😁
My Ravenhood Warden killed their Venari Marksrat as well whom buffed up their Riftwing increasing all of his stats by one. My monsters couldn't kill him and unfortunately I lost my Harklaw in the process of that. 😒
Luckily I had another tank ready and primed and in the second round my Trapp killed their new tank of Riftwing easily.
Still in the second round my team managed to kill their Skok and only two monsters with only one health left in their team, which was easy to kill for my team and won the battle for me! 😇

Battle Result

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?

My strategy worked as I expected, because I decreased the melee attack of my opponent monsters and also increased mines with one, so the difference of our melee attacks were already two, which helped a lot in this battle. 😇

If you would like to use some of my dividers I have created for your blog feel free to use them following this link. 😉
