Introducing: LoopyLou!

By @looptylou3/24/2018introduceyourself

Hey, Hey Howdy Hey, Steemit community!

I recently shared a bunch of stories from my life with a friend. Some are very funny, some are sad, and still others are both. My friend suggested I write a book. While I may still do that someday, I think a better way to share these stories is by writing about them here on Steemit!

A little about me:

  • 42 years old
  • divorced
  • mom to a hilarious and smart 9 year old daughter
  • grew up in California, lived in Texas a few years and now call Nevada home

Hobbies and interests include, but not limited to (that you can also look forward to future posts about):

  • Tea
  • Reading
  • Crochet
  • Tea
  • "Twigs and granola" stuff like essential oils, using safer cleaning products, natural remedies, making kombucha & other fermented fun
  • hula hooping
  • Stamp collecting
  • Making money online
  • dreaming and goal setting
  • self improvement
  • fighting depression
  • being a pen-pal
  • learning to speak Spanish

Some of my favorite TV shows include: Scandal, Chicago Fire/PD/Med. That's about it. Mostly I'd rather be on the computer, hopefully expanding my mind for the better.

Movies: My current favorite is The Greatest Showman.

Music: I have eclectic tastes. I enjoy almost anything, from George Strait to Celtic Thunder. You'll find John Mellancamp, Cyndi Lauper, Pentatonix, Rend Collective, Lauren Daigle, Chris Tomlin, and Kutless on my iPod.

Books: There's NO way I could narrow it down to just one. I couldn't put the Hunger Games down until I finished the entire series. I got so attached to the characters in Big Little Lies that I literally MISSED them like missing a friend when they move away after finishing the novel by Liane Moriarty. Gone Girl was another page turner. I need to re-read the Corormoran Strike series, written under the pen name Robert Galbraith. I don't have a lot of time for page-turning these days, so I do most of my "reading" via audio books, which is just not the same.

Now that you know a little bit about me, I'm to learn more about you!
