Hoy estoy muy feliz de empezar este nuevo año cantando una semana más en este espacio. ¡Llegamos a la semana 300! se dice fácil, pero son años de trayectoria de risas y llantos, de amor y entrega por traer buena música. Felicidades a todo el equipo de moderación por presentarnos esta hermosa comunidad donde cada uno de nosotros expresamos a través de la música lo que con palabras no podemos. Esta comunidad me vio evolucionar, experimentar con mi voz, perfomance de bajo presupuesto (risas), así es como el artista de hoy evoluciona, empezar es la clave, permanecer es el reto. Como se han dado cuenta me tomé estos meses de ausencia para disfrutar momentos con mi pareja, ya que apenas tenemos 9 meses en persona, pero 1 año de relación a distancia. Para tomar momentos para reflexionar, para continuar construyendo. En ocasiones es bueno tomarse un tiempo para reconstruirnos y encontrarnos a nosotros mismos.

Today I am very happy to start this new year singing for another week in this space. We have reached week 300! It's easy to say, but it represents years of laughter and tears, of love and dedication to bringing good music. Congratulations to the entire moderation team for introducing us to this beautiful community where each of us expresses through music what we cannot express with words. This community has seen me evolve, experiment with my voice, and perform on a low budget (laughs). That's how today's artists evolve: getting started is the key, staying the course is the challenge. As you may have noticed, I took these months off to enjoy time with my partner, since we've only been together in person for nine months, but have been in a long-distance relationship for a year. To take time to reflect, to continue building. Sometimes it's good to take time to rebuild and find ourselves.

Para esta semana 300 quise traerles una canción que simboliza el grito de guerra de todos los venezolanos: Hay Libertad, escrita en 2024. Letra y música por mi persona y acompañamiento de guitarra por mi novio Fer. Espero de todo corazón que le presten atención a la letra y la canten con fe, porque todos los venezolanos tenemos la fe intacta pase lo que pase.

For this week 300, I wanted to bring you a song that symbolizes the battle cry of all Venezuelans: Hay Libertad (There is Freedom), written in 2024. Lyrics and music by me and guitar accompaniment by my boyfriend Fer. I sincerely hope that you pay attention to the lyrics and sing them with faith, because all Venezuelans have their faith intact no matter what happens.

Después de lo ocurrido el 03 de enero del presente año, mi corazón se arrugó demasiado porque lo estoy viviendo lejos de mi país, tengo familia en Venezuela y lo primero que pensé fue en mi mamita y el abuelo, mi hermana y su familia, entré en un ataque de pánico. Pero mi mente recordó ese grito de guerra, esa oración que le hice a Dios a través de la música y la cantaba con mis ojos llenos de lagrimas, EN TI HAY LIBERTAD. Si fijamos la mirada en Dios, y vamos a sus brazos, sentiremos esa paz que sobrepasa todo entendimiento, en Dios somos libres de toda atadura, en Jesús encontraremos ese refugio pase lo que pase. Por eso quise traerla para recordarles que con Dios estamos más que bendecidos y respaldados. ¡En nuestro país reina nuestro Padre Celestial! ¿Ustedes lo creen? Veamos más allá, veamos con fe que la tormenta va a pasar. Alcemos la voz en oración por Venezuela.

After what happened on January 3rd of this year, my heart sank because I am living far away from my country. I have family in Venezuela, and the first thing I thought of was my mom and grandpa, my sister and her family. I had a panic attack. But my mind remembered that battle cry, that prayer I made to God through music, and I sang it with tears in my eyes: IN YOU THERE IS FREEDOM. If we fix our gaze on God and go into His arms, we will feel that peace that surpasses all understanding. In God, we are free from all bondage. In Jesus, we will find that refuge no matter what happens. That is why I wanted to bring it to remind you that with God we are more than blessed and supported. Our Heavenly Father reigns in our country! Do you believe it? Let us look beyond, let us see with faith that the storm will pass. Let us raise our voices in prayer for Venezuela.
