How are you all today? I hope everyone is doing fine right now. Here I am again, @lj1728 to share another simple life story with you all.💕
Yesterday was my husband's day off and he invited me on a simple date at Dancalan Seawall so we could unwind. Of course, I happily agreed. Instead of dining somewhere expensive, we prepared our own little feast. I fried crispy potato wedges, fries, and kropek, while he made his delicious homemade lumpia. On the way, we passed by a barbeque stand and bought some isaw, dugo, and barbeque. He also brought the beer he had bought from Osave, which made our picnic feel more complete.
We arrived in the early evening, and it was already getting dark. The street lights were the only source of light, but instead of feeling gloomy, it actually made everything more beautiful. The dim lights created a calm and cozy atmosphere, perfect for a quiet date by the sea. The sound of the waves was more noticeable at night, and the cool breeze felt extra refreshing.
We set up our mini folding table and chairs, arranging all the food neatly as if we were in our own little dining table. Sitting there under the soft glow of the street lights, sharing food and laughter, felt so intimate and peaceful. There were only a few people around, so it felt like we had the seawall almost to ourselves.
It was the perfect way to enjoy each other's company. This simple date turns out to be one of the most meaningful bonding we had. No fancy restaurants, no grand gestures, just good food, cold drinks, dim lights, and the comforting presence of the person you truly love. A beautiful memory we will always cherish!❤️
