My full collection of pens and part collection of Little Twin Star

When I saw @mipiano's post for this month's Hive Collectors topic was ballpoint pen, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to do a spring clean. I don't mean cleaning each pen, but rather to tidy up my penholder, which is actually a tin of my favourite Sanrio character Little Twin Star.

Little Twin Star pens

These are my favourite pens from my favourite character, Little Twin Star πŸ˜ƒ. I bought this last time I was back in Taiwan, and the ink has run out already. I need to buy a refill but I don't know the tip size, plus the tube is shorter than normal. Need to figure how and where to get a refill. It's not like people often refill ballpoint pens nowadays, they normally just throw the pen away when it runs out of ink.

This is another of my favourite pen, and yes it's also Little Twin Star. I have tonnes of their stuff, this is just a tiny fraction of them. This is a multi colour pen with three different colours. When I bought the pen, also from Taiwan, it didn't come with any ink cartridges. They had to be bought separately and there was a range of colours to choose from. I choose the standard black and blue, and pink as the third colour because it's cute. Next time I go back to Taiwan I'll have to stock up on refills, I'm pretty sure I can't get them here.

The ink cartridges themselves are very pretty, the characters are printed on them, likewise on the cap of the holder. The attention to detail on these products are really great.

Estate agent pens

These pens are also from Taiwan. I got them when I was looking to rent a place, though I have no idea why I've got three. The first four characters are the name of the estate agent company, the next three the area they cover. The next line is the agent's name and their phone number is below. I think this is a great idea, much better than giving out a name card which people just throw away afterwards. And, these are quite nice pens, not the cheapy disposable ones, in particular the bottom one, it's a good rollerball pen.

Cruise pens

These are from my previous cruises. Atlas is the company I just cruised with to Antarctica, and MSC is a from another cruise a few years ago.

Random pens

I didn't remember I had these pens till this spring clean. I add pens to my pen holder if they write well and then they just stay there unforgotten. The IBM pen is probably from my work days, that would be a long time ago. The second one is my husband's, it's a merch from his alma mater. A good one as well, Parker. I can't remember where the third one came from. It's got a funny shape at the tip. It's ran out of ink and I ask my husband to throw it away. Then he said its actually a touch screen pen and it would be useful. Good point (nice pun 😁), it gets to stay. The bottom one is from the charity when I was doing volunteer work welcoming Ukrainian refugees to my local airport. Shit! That's nearly four years ago, this atrocity needs to stop!!!

Disposable pens

I think I bought these pens during Covid. This was when I had returned to UK, supposedly for a month that turned into years and had no possessions. I probably got them to write Christmas cards, that's the only reason I hand write things nowadays. The store, Wilko has even gone onto liquidation since. Another casualty from Covid.

After I tidied up my pen holder, I found another stack of these disposable pens in my pencil case, which as you may have noticed, is also Little Twin Star 😁

Sanrio collection

Here's more😁, I thought I'd throw them in even though they're not ballpoint pens, they were lurking around in my pen holder. The top one is a rubber, or eraser. You unpeel the wrapper to expose the rubber. The bottom one is a retractable pencil. I'm glad of this spring clean as I found some missing loose parts for the clip inside the pen holder. Need to glue it back on.

Hive

And finally, a Hive pen!!! I got this from Graz last year, it's a very good write. Even hubby says so, and he uses it more than me. I better get it back before he keeps it for himself!
