I was browsing thru a magazine from earlier this month about Christmas wishlist, and thought it would be nice to share some extravaganza with you in case you're thinking of splashing out on some last minute Christmas presents for me 😂.
Page 2 and 3 is an advert, by none other than the crème de la crème of luxury products. I wouldn't expect anything less at this time of the year for the lifestyle magazine from a UK broadsheet. Lucky you if Santa brings you something from their range. I'm not fussy, I'll be happy to settle for anything from their brand. Just sayin.
Let's move on the products on the suggested wish list. Based on the calibre of the advert we've just seen, you'd better be prepared to break your bank. But not to be worried, the Mulberry handbag in the right is marketed as an investment buy. At £1195, you will get your money's worth in the years to come.
The other item that caught my eye is the £435 backgammon set at the bottom of the page. I've been trying to get hubby to play backgammon with me for years without much success. Maybe he thinks all backgammon sets are so expensive.
Rimowa suitcases are known for their durability. Recently I saw a guy with his at the airport. It had a few dents in it, including one on the corner of the case, but it was still as tough as a cookie. These things are made to travel, and with the lifetime guarantee, this £1070 suitcase might turn out to be a better investment than the Mulberry handbag. The cooper colour is quite unusual, it will be easy to spot on the luggage carousel, and the chances of some else with the same case is pretty low.
If you ask foreigners their impression of England, many will say it's wet and foggy. I'm not sure why we get that reputation. In the old days, men in suits and bowler hats carrying an umbrella were common sights in movies. Maybe that's the reason?

I see less people carrying an umbrella nowadays but I wouldn't mind this umbrella by Loro Piana, an Italian fashion house that specialises in fine wool and cashmere clothing. This umbrella is very elegant, I love its dual tones inside and out. I expect you'd need very good quality material to achieve the effect. And the colour combination is beautiful. Perfect, except for the £1255 price tag. Ouch!! Imagine if you left that on the bus!! But then, if you have an umbrella worth over a grand, I'm sure you can afford a taxi.

I'm sure many of us are going to need to shed a few kilos after gorging out over the Christmas. These dumb bells will come in very handy. They're from Armani Casa, created by the great Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani who sadly died earlier this year. I love Armani's products, they are simple, yet stylish and sophisticated. So are these dumb bells that cost £945. You'd be pleased to know it's for a pair, not one 😉.
Finally!! I get to page 64 and there's something I can afford, the under £10 list. There's actually a lot of nice good quality presents here. Like the oil pourer on the right, the one with three bulbs inside. That would look so stylish in my kitchen.
And the wooden spoons below. They're only £7 each, and are so beautiful!! They're an absolute steal. I might get myself a couple.
What Christmas presents have you bought for your loved ones this year? Or what's on your wishlist that you hope Santa Claus will bring you?
Have a great Christmas!!!
