Who doesn't love going out with the family during Holy Week?
Well, we all love going to the beach, the countryside, the river, a pool, and every other place possible.
It's wonderful when you go with your family to share wonderful, pleasant moments of great pleasure.
Today I want to tell you what I did as a family this Holy Week.
A long time ago, the church I attend bought a piece of land in a field called La Pastora. The property is called "Las Bendiciones," and I can explain why... there's an exquisite morichal (waterhole) where we can swim as often as we want. It has shallow water, but with machinery, it was made deeper. It has a lot of fine sand and almost no scrubland compared to other places. But what makes it truly wonderful is being with family and brothers and sisters in Christ there.
Every Holy Week, the church schedules a camp there, and although we haven't been there for many years due to the current situation in the country, this year we were able to do so.
My mom, my sister, and I went together, along with many members of the church, who are not only brothers but also friends.
We ate a lot of meat. They slaughtered an animal to eat it, and we ate meat morning, noon, and night. I know some people don't do that because it's Holy Week, but we have different beliefs, and we respect any ideas... read on...
We were able to enjoy ourselves with friends and family, eating, washing dishes, bathing, and laughing a lot. On Friday, we had a bonfire, where we held hands and prayed.
I want to say that this place is one of my favorites, and although I didn't go back to the time I wanted to go back, I was able to go back in time with a wonderful present. My family and I enjoyed it very much and would like to go again this year.
