Fitty Wun

The design of this house reflects the cheerful, sometimes irreverent personality of the guests, a couple with three young boys. Customers wanted a home with large, bright central spaces where children and family friends would like to spend time today as in ten years.

The front facade is an interpretation of a traditional townhouse - a simple composition that blends into the neighborhood but suggests the modern interior by the choice of materials. The main floor consists of a large room fusing the kitchen, the dining room and the living room. The kitchen opens up, illuminating two additional floors. Innovative storage solutions allow the large room - a place to cook, eat, work and play - to be the hub of the house, without clutter. The living room opens onto a terrace and a courtyard, where there is plenty of space for the varied activities of the family members. The metal staircase, supported by a tiled wall, leads from the entrance of the street to the upper floors, where a footbridge connects the rooms. A diagonal staircase above the atrium leads further to a suspended office. The roof terrace offers an unobstructed view.
