I played a round of disc golf today with four other people and Doggie. Doggie did alright and enjoyed following all of us around. I am amazed at how well he behaved himself. I hesitated to bring him at first, but everyone loved dogs, so I brought him along. It was warm enough that we were concerned about how hot he was in his furry coat, but I gave him plenty of water, and he kept up with us fine.
I ended up with the win with a +2 score to a +8, +10, +25, and +27. I feel like I am playing at almost the same level I was at before my injury. I'm still dealing with a bit of arm pain, but it is getting better each day.
A butterfly feeding on the blackberry flowers out on the disc golf course today:
There were a half dozen or so of these butterflies flying around today. I was tempted to try to get a better picture, but I didn't want to delay everyone who was playing the round.
