Whats the mission of the "Lightpainters United" Community?
The possibilities of blockchain technology have not yet reached many. Many artists in particular know nothing about it, or are not familiar with it. It is exactly the same in the Lightpainter community. There are only a few active Lightpainters worldwide at HIVE and we want to change this.
Light painting is a photographic technique in which exposures are made by moving a hand-held light source while taking a long exposure photograph, either to illuminate a subject or to shine a point of light directly at the camera, or by moving the camera itself during exposure. Nothing is added or removed in post processing.
This art is very visible and can easily inspire some photographers to try out these techniques. There are now a lot of photographers here on HIVE and accordingly we have made it our task to introduce our small light painting community into the new social media world. With "Lightpainters United" we not only want to show our art to the HIVE world, but also to help other Lightpainting artists to get started with HIVE.
