Rebellion General Sale is Started! Cost per Pack Evaluation and Calculation + My first 40 Rebellion Packs Opened!
The wait is over! Yesterday December 5, 2023 the general sale of the new Rebellion set began.
The Rebellion Packs for sale during the general sale will total 9.5 million but each day 90% of 25K packs not sold on that day will be burned.
This burn mechanism will most likely decrease the total number of Rebellion packs and avoid the mistake made with the Chaos Legion set that produced a general inflation of card value.
The Rebellion set introduces 4 new abilities and introduces dual element summoners that add a new in-game strategic choice for those playing in Modern Format and add an in-game advantage for real players against bots in Wild Format.
Rebellion packs can now be opened and Rebellion cards can be used in Modern Format and Wild Format Ranked Battles.
Untamed cards, on the other hand, come out of the Modern Format and can only be used in Wild Format battles.
It is also now again possible to purchase Rebellion packs from the Shop section of the Splinterlands website.
Today I calculated the cost per Rebellion pack based on the different purchase options and based on the market value of the tokens you can use for the different purchase options.
To purchase a Rebellion pack from the Splinterlands site it is best to use 5000 DEC + 5 VOUCHER and the cost per pack is = $4,1048
You can also purchase 1 Rebellion pack from the internal Market in Splinterlands (Other Items section) and the cost per pack is = 3.8$
Buying a Rebellion pack from Hive Engine/TribalDex/BeeSwap has a cost = 9.76 SWAP.HIVE = $3.57
In fact, even buying 2000 packs in a single transaction from the Splinterlands Shop produces a higher cost per pack than that on Hive Engine even though it is a very close price = $3.59 vs. $3.57
I have so far purchased 40 Rebellion packs and have chosen to purchase them from Hive Engine in different time intervals during the presale.
To purchase 40 Rebellion packs I spent a total of $122.57.
I am happy with my choice because I incurred a cost per pack = 3.06$
With the savings I obtained I could buy 10 Grimardun Smiths today instead of the guaranteed 4 BCX I would have obtained by participating in the presale.
Today I opened all my 40 packs together with my daughter Chiara who is 10 years old and enjoys opening the packs.
I think my daughter brought me luck because in the 40 packs I opened and out of a total of 200 cards I found:
- 6 legendary monster cards
- 13 epic monster cards including Avarisdeus and Karst Harpy Gold Foil
- 32 Summoner cards including 3 Gold Foil summoners
It will be necessary to wait a few days to see the prices of the cards adjust but based on the calculation of the Peakmonsters site, I was really lucky because I spent $122.57 to buy 40 Rebellion packs and found 200 cards whose total estimated value is = $220.50
What I will do starting tomorrow is to choose my priority purchases of the Rebellion set and will be to sell immediately the Rebellion cards that I found in the packs and that may be less useful to me in battle.
In the first few days of the general sale I will worry more about selling than buying because often in the first few days cards have higher prices ;)
With the profit I get from selling my cards I will buy more packs and Rebellion cards that I will carefully select from the market.

L'attesa è finita! Ieri 5 dicembre 2023 è iniziata la general sale del nuovo set Rebellion.
I Rebellion Packs in vendita durante la general sale saranno in totale 9.5 milioni ma ogni giorno sarà bruciato il 90% di 25K pacchi non venduti in quel giorno.
Questo meccanismo di bruciatura diminuirà con molta probabilità il numero totale dei pacchi Rebellion ed eviterà l'errore fatto con il set Chaos Legion che ha prodotto un inflazione generale del valore delle carte.
Il set Rebellion introduce 4 nuove abilità e introduce gli evocatori dual element che aggiungono una nuova scelta strategica in game per chi gioca nel Modern Format e aggiungono un vantaggio in game per i giocatori reali contro i bots nel Wild Format.
Adesso è possibile aprire i pacchi Rebellion ed è possibile utilizzare le carte Rebellion nelle Ranked Battles del Modern Format e del Wild Format.
Le carte Untamed invece escono dal Modern Format e potranno essere utilizzate solo nelle battaglie del Wild Format.
Da oggi è anche di nuovo possibile acquistare i pacchi Rebellion dalla sezione Shop del sito di Splinterlands.
Oggi ho calcolato il costo per pacco Rebellion in base alle diverse opzioni di acquisto e in base al valore di mercato dei tokens che è possibile utilizzare per le diverse opzioni di acquisto.
Per acquistare un pacco Rebellion dal sito di Splinterlands conviene utilizzare 5000 DEC + 5 VOUCHER e il costo per pacco è = 4.1048$
E' possibile acquistare 1 pacco Rebellion anche dal Market interno di Splinterlands (sezione Other Items) e il costo per pacco è = 3.8$
Acquistare un pacco Rebellion da Hive Engine/TribalDex/BeeSwap ha un costo = 9.76 SWAP.HIVE = 3.57$
Oggi 6 dicembre 2023, la migliore opzione di acquisto per 1 pacco Rebellion è l'acquisto da Hive Engine = 3.57$ per pacco.
Infatti anche l'acquisto di 2000 pacchi in un unica transazione dallo Shop di Splinterlands produce un costo per pacco superiore a quello su Hive Engine anche se è un prezzo molto vicino = 3.59$ vs 3.57$
Io fino ad oggi ho acquistato 40 pacchi Rebellion e ho scelto di acquistarli da Hive Engine in diversi intervalli di tempo durante la presale.
Per acquistare 40 pacchi Rebellion ho speso in totale 122.57$
Sono contento della mia scelta perchè ho sostenuto un costo per pacco = 3.06$
Con il risparmio che ho ottenuto potrei oggi acquistare 10 Grimardun Smith invece dei 4 BCX garantiti che avrei ottenuto partecipando alla presale.

Sarà necessario aspettare qualche giorno per vedere i prezzi delle carte assestarsi ma in base al calcolo del sito Peakmonsters sono stato davvero fortunato perchè ho speso 122.57$ per acquistare 40 pacchi Rebellion e ho trovato 200 carte il cui valore totale stimato è = 220.50$
Quello che farò a partire da domani sarà scegliere i miei acquisti prioritari del set Rebellion e sarà vendere subito le carte Rebellion che ho trovato nei pacchi e che potranno essermi meno utili in battaglia.
Nei primi giorni della general sale mi preoccuperò più di vendere che acquistare perchè spesso nei primi giorni le carte hanno prezzi più alti ;)
Con il guadagno che otterrò dalla vendita delle mie carte acquisterò altri pacchi e carte Rebellion che selezionerò con cura dal mercato.
