Moon Karts: Focus on TECH ENGINE Cards

It is several months that I play and have fun on Moonkarts which is a Hive-based arcade race game that is part of the games featured on the Arcade Colony platform.

If you don't know Moon Karts, you can read the guide that I wrote recently in which I explained how to start playing and also stated all the initial requirements.
In today's post I share a focus on TECH ENGINE Cards.
The TECH ENGINE cards are NFT that can be equipped in the Kart Preset and produce the Speed and Acceleration statistics enhancement.
For example, in my Kart Preset I equipped the Engine Enhancement NFT of level 1.
There are 4 types of TECH ENGINE Cards in two versions (regular and gold foil):
  • Engine Refinement - Common
  • Engine Tune-up - Rare
  • Engine Enhancement - Epic
  • Engine Upgrade - Legendary
TECH ENGINE type NFT can be purchased from the MARKET or can be found within the CENTAURI packs.
The TECH ENGINE Cards have a starting level (=1 for regular versions and >1 for gold versions) that can be increased to the maximum level through the merge operation that combines multiple NFTs.

In the Market of Moon Karts you can see the cards for sale but you cannot see the statistics of the cards.

The TECH ENGINE Cards have an important positive impact on the Speed statistic and a less important but still positive impact on the Acceleration statistic.

For example, my Engine Enhancement allows my Kart to increase speed (+62.6) and accellation (+3.5).
Now let me show you the main information for each of the TECH ENGINE Cards that can be used on Moon Karts and their price for purchase in the Market.

Engine Refinement

The NFT Engine Refinement is the common type tech engine and at level 1 produces these increments:
  • speed: +57
  • acceleration: +1.2
In the next image you can see all the levels attainable by Engine Refinement and the statistics by level.

In the market there are only 103 Engine Refinement regular version and the lowest purchase price is 0.10$ payable in credits or in SCRIPT
Based on the number of (regular) cards for sale in the Market the maximum reachable level is level 4 obtainable by buying and combining 70 cards with an approximate total cost of 7$ (considering the lowest purchase price).
By buying gold cards it is possible to reach level 6 but in this case it is necessary to buy 12 cards and the total cost is $28.93 because there are only 7 cards for sale at $1.29 while the later ones have higher costs.

Engine Tune-up

The NFT Engine Tune-up is the rare type tech engine and at level 1 produces these increases:
  • speed: +56.1 (-0.9 compared to Engine Refinement)
  • acceleration: +2.6 (+1.4 compared to Engine Refinement)
In the next image you can see all the levels attainable by Engine Tune-up and the statistics by level.

In the market there are:
  • 72 Engine Tune-up regular version and the lowest purchase price is $0.24 payable in credits or in SCRIPT
  • 2 Engine Tune-up Gold Foil and the lowest purchase price is 3.49$
Based on the number of cards for sale in the Market, the maximum attainable level is level 5 obtainable:
  • By buying and combining 60 regular version cards with an approximate total cost of $14.4 (considering the lowest purchase price).

Engine Enhancement

The NFT Engine Enhancement is the epic type tech engine and at level 1 produces these increases:
  • speed: +62.6
  • accellation: +3.5
In the next image you can see all the levels achievable by Engine Enhancement and the statistics by level.

In the market there are:
  • 21 Engine Enhancement regular version and the lowest purchase price is $1.94 payable in credits or in SCRIPT
  • 1 Engine Enhancement Gold Foil and the lowest purchase price is 49$
Based on the number of cards for sale in the Market, the maximum attainable level is level 3 obtainable by buying and combining 20 cards with an approximate total cost of 38.8$ (considering the lowest purchase price).

Engine Upgrade

The NFT Engine Upgrade is the legendary type tech engine and at level 1 produces these increases:
  • speed: +64.5
  • accellation: +4.4
In the next image you can see all the levels achievable by the Engine Upgrade and the statistics by level.

In the market there are:
  • 3 Engine Upgrade regular version and the lowest purchase price is $13.99 payable in credits or in SCRIPT
  • there are no Engine Upgrade Gold Foil for sale in the market.
Based on the number of cards for sale in the Market the maximum attainable level is the first level because you need 4 regular cards or 1 gold card for the second level but there are no such amounts of cards for sale in the Market.
Today May 17, 2025, considering 1 single copy of the TECH ENGINE Cards:
  • 1 Engine Refinement (regular): costs $0.10 - +57 Speed - +1.2 Acceleration
  • 1 Engine Refinement (Gold): costs $1.29 - +59 Speed - +1.6 Acceleration
  • 1 Engine Tune-up (regular): costs $0.24 - +56.1 Speed - +2.6 Accelleration
  • 1 Engine Tune-up (Gold): costs $3.49 - +58.1 Speed - +2.8 Accelleration
  • 1 Engine Enhancement (regular): costs $1.94 - +62.6 Speed - +3.5 Accelleration
  • 1 Engine Enhancement (Gold): costs $49 - +65.6 Speed - +3.7 Accelleration
  • 1 Engine Upgrade (regular): costs $13.99 - +64.5 Speed - +4.4 Accelleration
  • 1 Engine Upgrade (Gold): There are no cards for sale in the market - +70.5 Speed - +4.6 Accelleration

Moon Karts: Focus on TECH ENGINE Cards

Sono diversi mesi che gioco e mi diverto su Moonkarts che è un Hive-based arcade race game che fa parte dei giochi presenti sulla piattaforma Arcade Colony.

Se non conosci Moon Karts puoi leggere la guida che ho scritto di recente in cui ho spiegato come iniziare a giocare indicando anche tutti i requisiti iniziali.
Nel post di oggi condivido un focus sulle TECH ENGINE Cards.
Le TECH ENGINE cards sono degli NFT che possono essere equipaggiati nel Kart Preset e producono il miglioramento delle statistiche Speed e Accellerazione.
Ad esempio nel mio Kart Preset ho equipaggiato l'NFT Engine Enhancement di livello 1.
Ci sono 4 tipologie di TECH ENGINE Cards in due versioni (regular e gold foil):
  • Engine Refinement - Common
  • Engine Tune-up - Rare
  • Engine Enhancement - Epic
  • Engine Upgrade - Legendary
Gli NFT di tipo TECH ENGINE possono essere acquistati dal MARKET oppure possono essere trovati all'interno dei CENTAURI packs.
Le TECH ENGINE Cards hanno un livello di partenza (=1 per le regular version e >1 per le gold version) che può essere aumentato fino al livello massimo tramite l'operazione di merge di più NFT.

Nel Market di Moon Karts è possibile vedere le carte in vendita ma non è possibile vedere le statistiche delle carte.

Le TECH ENGINE Cards hanno un impatto positivo importante sulla statistica Speed e un impatto meno importante ma comunque positivo sulla statistica Accellerazione.

Ad esempio il mio Engine Enhancement permette al mio Kart di incrementare la velocità (+62.6) e l'accellerazione (+3.5).

Engine Refinement

L'NFT Engine Refinement è il tech engine di tipo comune e al livello 1 produce questi incrementi:
  • velocità: +57
  • accellerazione: +1.2

Nel market ci sono solo 103 Engine Refinement regular version e il prezzo più basso di acquisto è 0.10$ pagabile in credits o in SCRIPT
In base al numero di carte (regular) in vendita nel Market il massimo livello raggiungibile è il livello 4 ottenibile comprando e combinando 70 carte con un costo totale approssimativo di 7$ (considerando il prezzo di acquisto più basso).
Acquistando le carte gold è possibile raggiungere il livello 6 ma in questo caso è necessario acquistare 12 carte e il costo totale è 28.93$ perchè ci sono solo 7 carte in vendita a 1.29$ mentre le successive hanno costi maggiori.

  • 3 Engine Upgrade regular version e il prezzo più basso di acquisto è 13.99$ pagabile in credits o in SCRIPT
  • non ci sono Engine Upgrade Gold Foil in vendita nel mercato.
In base al numero di carte in vendita nel Market il massimo livello raggiungibile è il primo livello perchè sono necessarie 4 carte regular o 1 carta gold per il secondo livello ma non ci sono queste quantità di carte in vendita nel mercato.
Oggi 17 maggio 2025, considerando 1 singola copia delle TECH ENGINE Cards:
  • 1 Engine Refinement (regular): costa 0.10$ - +57 Speed - +1.2 Accelleration
  • 1 Engine Refinement (Gold): costa 1.29$ - +59 Speed - +1.6 Accelleration
