It was just a typical afternoon when I saw Sister in-law maneuvering her car. My son Caleb got excited as he loves cars. He even kissed his Tita, surely trying his best.
Where to?, I asked.
Turns out she will be picking up another sister in law who worked at Lipa. MIL didn't want to go with since she wanted to complete the Misa de Gallo.
Can we go with you? We will just change.
No ceremony just literally changed our clothes into decent one, bought a small backpack with my son's needs and off we went!
Students are on vacation now so the road was not congested and we arrived early at SIL work place.
Would you guys want to go in? Perhaps the kids would love the Christmas decor in our department. SIL asked.
Well why not? We aren't busy and have nothing to do at home.
Santa Village here we go!
This was decorated by SIL and her co-department and they won as part of holiday celebration in their workplace.
I was expecting my toddler would love it as he could now appreciate anything that was beautiful or colorful in his eyes.
BUT, he doesn't like his Tita.
Backstory, since his Tita is working in the hospital, he would often see her everytime he had vaccines. Maybe that's what he remembered about her. Also, she seldom goes home as she was staying near her workplace to avoid traffic.
As a result, Cale doesn't want to leave my arms 😂. It takes a lot of coaxing and I struggle since he was heavy to carry.

After not seeing her, Caleb was happily running around 🤣.
SIL was like: you are hurting my feelings Caleb!

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to capture it all, but here's some.
Gifts, as Santa was well known for granting kids wishes. The Christmas tree symbolizes the festive season. Snowflakes and gang chairs were decorated to look like trains.

We did try to take some photos in order to save good memories for them but my son won't stay still. He would keep on running around and checking out every corner.
So I told his Tita to take photos of us and this was the only decent among the rest;
NOT IN THE MOOD, because it was his Tita who was taking the photo 🤣.
I told SIL that she needs to go home frequently so Caleb would be familiar to her. She wouldn't like it if it would be us who visit her here in the HOSPITAl. RIGHT? 🤣.
