It's my 3rd time celebrating Christmas in my husband's town. The previous years feel vague. All I can remember was my pregnancy and buried motherhood. Thus, one thing I'd noticed on December 25th, there are a lot of kids who roamed around the neighborhood for presents.
Others are going into their Godparents or random houses. My husband's brother, whose home was next to ours, had a lot of god kids. Oftentimes, they would also stop in ours.
I'd been thinking of buying candies and re-packed so I would have something to give. Thus, it slipped on my mind. Good thing my sister in-law had extra plastic for packaging.
When the husband was awake after sleeping almost the entire day, we went to the local market. We need to buy food for Noche Buena and candies. He had brought chocolates so I was thinking of giving away a pack.
The Husbands had a big family and we needed to give them too so I could spare only one. His nieces and nephews also had a sweet tooth.
We only added four packs of candies. Our house is not along the road so only a few kids go there. It is just a preparation just in case so no one will be left empty handed.

Here is the packaging I got from SIL.

Just enough to put in a few candies.

Supposedly, Caleb will be helping me but realized we might end up packing none. So his Dad took care of him for a while.

Our little way of sharing blessings.

I only made less than fifty pieces and unfortunately didn't do it for half a day .
I didn't expect there would be a lot of kids who would drop by our house. There are many whom we are unable to give anything to. OMG, perhaps I need to make at least one hundred pieces next year!
Nevertheless, Caleb enjoys giving away his presents.
