Happy Sunday, hope everyone had a great day!
I told my son last night to go to bed early so he would wake up at six, as it's been weeks since we've attended mass. He's been sleeping at ten in the evening, or even later, since I can no longer remember. Sometimes I also dozed off while patting his back to sleep 🤣. He is not yet done with the teething stage, but we are close to completing it.
Still, he slept until 10, but I was surprised he woke up at 6:30. Though I only had an hour and a half to prepare, we managed to arrive on time.
Unlike before, he no longer stays still on my arms or lap. Aware of his surroundings, seeing fellow toddlers or kids was enough to make him want to escape.* Good thing he got busy playing with his cousin's smart watch. Thus, it only lasted a few minutes.
After that, we kept walking around the church 😫. It was like parrading, and he was even shouting because one of the wall fans wasn't on.
Ended up what I only heard from the priest was "this is the week of rejoice."
After that, MIL and I decided to drop by the market because a newly opened food kiosk was selling roasted chicken.

The price of roasted chicken is $1 less than the well-known brand.
We buy a half, and of course, Caleb won't stay still. He was busy with the balloons and even popped one of two.
Look at him, he was even saying I am in trouble even though it was actually him who did!
He even wanted to be the one to carry our food.
What is it delicious?

I just bought half, and it comes with a sauce, and yes, it was. The taste was actually close to the leading brand. Surely I would buy again.

Karioka - made of glutinous rice, shaped into balls, coated in sugar and fried.

Rice cake, so Caleb and I won't go out later or cook, as I was planning to rest.
At least from the household chores 🤣.
