A quick day out, withdrew cash, and tried the newly opened dessert house in town.

It's already in the last week of the month and unfortunately our cash allowance didn't was almost spent. This sudden price hike on everything was to blame.

To be added, Caleb and I will be attending a birthday celebration and we need some cash for the red envelope. Nope not that I am generous but it's her 7th birthday and my husband's goddaugther. It was part of the culture here, so my son and I went out to withdraw.

Here he is getting nosey at the convenience store while I am waiting for our turn at the ATM.

Oh, he is so cute! How old is he? Someone asked, and based on her looks, maybe a student.

His 17th month. I replied.

What? Are you only one year old? While reaching my son's cheeks to pinch.

OH NO! NOT THE CHEEKS PLEASE! Good thing I was fast and held her wrist!

Yes, I appreciate the compliments to my toddler, but please, no TOUCHING.

Afterward, we walked. Yes, he doesn't want to be carried, nor does he want me to hold his hand! As if you could manage safely on his own!

WHERE TO?

A few weeks ago, a new dessert house opened near our place, and I wanted to try it since social media said it was worth it.

Haro-haro

The place was small, and only a few customers could be accommodated.

A few stools where customers could wait for their orders. In front were a few chairs and a table. Thus, I wasn't able to take the requested photo because it was occupied.

Here's the menu! For snacks, you have three options, and I chose ube cheese buchi.

For dessert, I tried their bestseller, Special Haro.

There were already pending orders when we arrived, since it was in HYPE. To stop my son from walking around in order not to disturb anyone and for safety (it was beside the road.), I gave him a drink.

Finally, our order was served.

Thus, the staff misheard it as take-out when it wasn't on the serving plate. On my part, I no longer had the energy to complain, so I just ate in peace.

Besides, I was satisfied with the taste.

And the Haro, yes it was like a Halo-halo.

They just added some ingredients to add a twist. As I ate, the crushed ice already had flavor. Tasted a pineapple.

It was expensive compared to normal Halo-halo, but it was worth the price.

Also, not too sweet.

Did I eat well?

At this time, my son wasn't that fussy as I gave him small portions from time to time. Also, he understood every time I told him to behave. Not that it lasts long, but it helps.

Somehow. I enjoyed our quick day out, though I got tired. My son's stroller broke down, and I still need to buy a new steel handle. Bringing out a hyper toddler alone is not for the weak 😂.

Still, I'm doing so that my son would get used to being outside. I believe he will learn to behave soon.
