Heyho Steemians,
my name is Alexandra but I prefer being called Lex. I study politics, philosophy and economics in my fourth semester in Bonn, a mid-sized German city. Originally I´m from the south of Germany while my grandparents´ families have their roots in Russia and Spain. Unfortunately, I was´t gifted with the ability to learning languages easily but the “language of music” (which just sounds too cheasy).
One of the most important thing in my life is music: I´ve been obsessed with it for as long as can remember. I play a lot of medieval, baroque and 19th century music on my baroque cello. A rather new pursuit of mine is jamming on various instruments, preferably at a fireplace together with good friends. Also, I love going on hikes and taking a swim in lakes. Due to the subjects I study I spend quite some time discussing issues of philosophical and political nature.
I came across Steemit while doing some research on Bitcoins for my studies. They say that as an aspiring economist one should know something about alternative currencies. And as I´ve got some spare time (perks of being a student) I thought joining your community would be a good way exploring this whole new world.
