A 5 años de tu partida

Saludos y bendiciones, mi gente linda de @familyfriends, espero estén teniendo un bonito día, lleno de vida y salud, para poder hacer todo lo que nos corresponde. En este día recordamos cómo lo hemos venido haciendo durante 5 años a mi querida hermana Karen.

Hoy mi sobrina mayor me pasó estas fotografías que tiene guardadas de su madre, para que las editara, pues hoy se cumplen 5 años de su partida al cielo.

Mi hermana fue una mujer muy alegre, ocurrente, divertida, inteligente, con una memoria privilegiada. Le encantaba hablar demasiado, con ella nadie se aburría, de buen corazón, bondadosa, echada para adelante. Con ella, las demás personas sabían que podían contar con su apoyo para lo que fuera.

Tenía un carácter fuerte, sabía perdonar y pedir perdón cuando se equivocaba, una madre abnegada, una esposa ejemplar, una hermana buena, aunque a veces porfiada o imprudente. Nadie es perfecto, pero en resumen, una persona que se dejaba amar, un excelente ser humano.

Un ángel que necesitaba Dios allá arriba, no la dejó que siguiera sufriendo con ese cáncer tan feroz que la consumía y que ella combatía con valentía, por sus hijos, por su familia.

Días antes de su partida se encontraba en otro país con sus hijos y esposo, por más que estaba aferrada a la vida. Ella decidió que si iba a partir lo iba a hacer en su país, en su casa, en familia y así fue.

Hoy elevo una oración al cielo, para que ella esté en paz y rodeada de los seres queridos que se fueron antes y después de ella. Para que ilumine nuestros caminos aquí en la tierra, sobre todo la de sus hijos, mis dos queridos sobrinos.

En estos momentos en que les escribo, vamos camino a la iglesia, mandamos hacer una misa en su honor, tradición religiosa que hacemos año tras año.

Algo que aremos hasta el final de nuestros días, así como hemos venido haciendo con mi hermano y mi papá, también con mi abuela que mañana cumple 25 años de su fallecimiento y la recordamos siempre con amor, porque también fue un ser maravilloso y la honramos por todo lo que nos amó.

5 years after your departure

Greetings and blessings, my beautiful people of @familyfriends, I hope you are having a nice day, full of life and health, to be able to do everything that corresponds to us. On this day we remember as we have been doing for 5 years my dear sister Karen.

Today my eldest niece gave me these photographs that she has saved of her mother, so that I could edit them, because today is the 5th anniversary of her departure to heaven.

My sister was a very cheerful, witty, funny, intelligent woman, with a privileged memory. She loved to talk too much, no one was bored with her, good-hearted, kind-hearted, forward-thinking. With her, other people knew they could count on her support for anything.

She had a strong character, she knew how to forgive and ask for forgiveness when she was wrong, a selfless mother, an exemplary wife, a good sister, although sometimes stubborn or reckless. No one is perfect, but in short, a person who let herself be loved, an excellent human being.

An angel that God needed up there, He did not let her continue suffering with that fierce cancer that consumed her and that she fought with courage, for her children, for her family.

Days before her departure she was in another country with her children and husband, even though she was clinging to life. She decided that if she was going to leave, she was going to do it in her country, in her home, with her family, and so it was.

Today I raise a prayer to heaven, that she may be at peace and surrounded by loved ones who went before and after her. That it may illuminate our paths here on earth, especially that of her children, my two dear nephews.

As I am writing this, we are on our way to the church, we have a mass in her honor, a religious tradition that we do year after year.

Something that we will do until the end of our days, just as we have been doing with my brother and my dad, also with my grandmother who tomorrow will be 25 years since her death and we always remember her with love, because she was also a wonderful being and we honor her for all that she loved us.
