I tend to incorporate horror, fantasy and sci-fi elements into my work. It's primarily based on my original love of Dungeons and Dragons (remember the Find Your Own Adventure series?), horror, fantasy and science fiction novels, as well as comics. This combination tends to send me in different directions. I also add in bits of classical art styles, especially Art Nouveau and classical styles, which are my main artistic influences. I'm not sure if it works, but it's what I love, and it keeps me striving and trying to improve with every new piece.
This is my Gazelf character. She's about 2 ft. high. With my larger gallery sculptures like her, I love painting a final corrupted patina, either metal or marble/stone. With her, I was going for a rusted degraded iron patina.
