Hello, how are you? It has been a while since I joined the Splinterlands art contest, maybe weeks ago, so this week I decided to join. I feel like I am getting back from my digital art block, LOL. For my entry for this week, I chose Coastal Nymph. I love the flow of her hair, I think she is the perfect character to choose for this week.
The Process:
For the line art, I used a detail marker. It took me one layer until I was satisfied with the line art.
After that, I fill the canvas with gray color just to tone the canvas, and then I start adding the base color with its respective layer to make the rendering easier later, and by the way, I use shape fill brush too add the base color.
After adding the base color, I started to add shades on her, and I used the basic 2 opacity brush, which I just like the texture of the brush, makes the render look good.
Next, because her power is water, I decided to add green as her background color, and I decided to make the water glow. And then I added more intense shades and shadows on her.
For this part, I started to add more details, and I almost forgot to add a texture to the canvas. And then I almost completely adjust down the opacity of the line art

For the final, I added a light background to make the canvas more interesting.
