Hi there, I’ve been a member of Steemit since the beginning of March so I’m long overdue for an introductory post here.
I’ve been a very happy #linux user since the summer of 2006. Most of the time I use an #Ubuntu or #Debian derivative, my current distro of choice is #Zorin which I’m really enjoying but I could easily change my mind in a month or two and try something else.
After the recent scandals surrounding #Facebook and #Twitter I decided to try some of the different social media sites. I watch quite a few of Styxhexenhammer’s videos on #youtube which linked to a few different social media sites, hence how I ended up here on #Stemmit along with a few others such as #Minds and #BitChute. They really are some great alternatives out there so thanks Styx!
As you’ve probably seen from my earlier posts, I have an interest in sharing photography. Everything I’ve shared is my own work, which I’d like to continue doing here on Steemit. I may also start a bit of #vlogging (something I’ve never done before!) in future, if I can get my camera setup right.
