Parque Norte
Parque Norte is one of the places where people usually go to enjoy the summer here in Buenos Aires, at least those of us who can’t travel abroad or to some exotic destination. It has very good prices, and you can have a great time there. It has spacious areas, and you can find everything from soccer fields to tennis courts. There are also volleyball and basketball courts, allowing people to enjoy different sports. Obviously, during the summer, the main attraction is the pools. It’s the same as swimming pools, but in Argentina, we call them "piletas."
I went with my niece, with whom I have been going every summer since 2017. We love being there—it’s our favorite summer escape, at least for now. The goal is to have a car and be able to visit more places. Argentina is a spectacular country with so many places to explore. We love making summer plans and dream of traveling to more provinces, visiting national parks, beaches, and mountains. But in the meantime, Parque Norte remains an excellent choice.
As soon as we arrived, she stood watching the soccer field (as she does every year) because soccer is her biggest passion. No matter how hot it is, she always wants to play. Whenever she sees other kids playing, she feels like joining in—and she often does.
The park has large green areas where people can sit and sunbathe, enjoy a picnic with loved ones, or simply find some peace. There are also grill areas perfect for having a barbecue with family. However, since it's near an airport, the sound of planes is quite frequent. In fact, when you’re in the pool, planes fly overhead, and it’s one of the most beautiful experiences in the park—everyone always looks up when a plane passes by. It’s a moment that brings everyone together, creating a shared sense of wonder.
The place also has cafeterias, sports offices, locker rooms, a gym, and jogging paths. You can really do everything here, no matter the time of year. It’s a space that accommodates all ages and preferences, as you can choose between relaxing activities or something more intense, depending on what you like.
We stayed for about four hours, making sure to apply a lot of sunscreen because the sun was really strong. We had an amazing time, and of course, we are already looking forward to next summer so we can come back. Now, the temperatures are dropping, and pool days are coming to an end.
A beautiful place to enjoy, with great prices and very close to the city. If you visit Buenos Aires in summer, I highly recommend stopping by this lovely place—I’m sure you’ll love it. It’s also a great option if you’re looking for something affordable and complete without going too far from the city.

Parque Norte
Parque Norte es uno de los lugares donde las personas suelen ir a disfrutar del verano acá en Buenos Aires, al menos los que no podemos viajar al exterior o a algún lugar exótico. Tiene muy buenos precios y se pasa bastante bien el tiempo. Tiene amplios espacios y puedes conseguir desde canchas de fútbol a tenis. También hay canchas de vóley y básquet, lo que permite disfrutar de distintos deportes. Obviamente, en tiempo de verano el principal atractivo turístico son las piletas, o piscinas. Es lo mismo, solo que en Argentina se le dice "pileta".
Fui con mi sobrina, con quien he estado yendo cada verano desde 2017. Amamos estar ahí, es nuestro escape favorito en verano, al menos por ahora. La meta es tener un auto y poder ir a más lugares. Argentina es un país espectacular, hay tantos lugares por conocer. Nos gusta hacer planes de verano y soñamos con recorrer más provincias, visitando parques nacionales, playas y montañas. Pero mientras tanto, Parque Norte sigue siendo una opción excelente.
Apenas llegamos, ella se quedó observando la cancha de fútbol (como cada año) porque el fútbol es su mayor pasión. No importa qué temperatura haga, ella siempre va a querer jugar. Cada vez que ve a otros niños jugando, le dan ganas de unirse, y muchas veces termina haciéndolo.
El Parque tiene amplias zonas verdes donde las personas se pueden sentar a tomar sol, compartir un picnic con seres queridos o simplemente tener un poco de paz. También hay quinchos con parrillas, ideales para hacer un buen asado en familia. Aunque está cerca de un aeropuerto, por lo que el sonido de los aviones es bastante frecuente. De hecho, cuando estás en la pileta, te pasan los aviones por arriba y es una de las experiencias más lindas del lugar, todos siempre ven al cielo cuando pasa el avión. Es un momento que une a todos los presentes, creando una sensación de asombro compartido.
El lugar también cuenta con confiterías, oficinas de deportes, vestuarios, gym y caminos aeróbicos. Realmente se puede hacer de todo, en cualquier época del año. Es un espacio que se adapta a todas las edades y gustos, ya que se pueden hacer actividades tranquilas o más intensas, dependiendo de cada persona.
Nosotros estuvimos alrededor de 4 horas en el lugar, eso sí: con mucho protector solar porque el sol estaba bastante fuerte. La pasamos increíble y obviamente ya queremos que venga el próximo verano para volver. Ya ahora las temperaturas están bajando y los días de pileta se van acabando.
Un muy lindo lugar para compartir, con excelentes precios y muy cerca de la ciudad. Si vienes a Buenos Aires en verano, te recomiendo pasarte por este lindo lugar y estoy seguro de que te encantará. También es una gran opción si buscas algo accesible y completo sin alejarte demasiado de la ciudad.
