Welcome to my MoonKarts Tip series - aiming to guide and help existing and new users in their journey towards supremacy. This post aims to detail Colony and Orbital rune locations, tips how to easily get it, and other important things to note when you play with this second map. You can refer to the map 1 & 2 in guides below:
- This map is the longest map among the three maps in the game. It's quite long, 2X the shortest map approximately 1.5x the 2nd. Making sure you are familiar with the map, Colony, and Orbital locations will help you finishing the race faster. The most important part is to not hit any track to maintain max speed.
First Set - Colony runes
Game starts the road asking you to drift into left side. After that drift, you will be required to drift again to the right side. In the middle of those drifts, you'll see the 1st set of Colony runes. New sets will respawn a couple of seconds after someone picks it up.
Second Set - Orbital runes
After the first set of colony runes, the orbital runes are located after the first set of Colony runes. It is quite a curvy road and once you get into the end of that curvy road, you'll see three pieces of orbitals. The technique here is to just follow the white grid of the road.
Third Set - Colony runes
The next set of Colony runes is located just a few meters after the Orbital runes. It is located on the left side of the road. I don't necessarily use drift here, I just position my kart to be at the left side of the road and make sure you get those three Colony runes in a straight line (and no longer needs a drift)
Fourth Set - Orbital runes
Last but not the least is the second set of orbital runes. It is located right after you jump off the cliff. Once you jump off, make sure to stay on the left side of the lane for easy drifting.

When you pass that
Start signage, your kart will jump off to a cliff. Then once you've landed, you will see the final set of orbital runes. Again, if you took the first three orbitals there is no need to get the second set.

This is the final drift you need to take if you haven't taken the first set of orbitals. You need to take these or else others will take these from you.
