Welcome to my MoonKarts Tip series - aiming to guide and help existing and new users in their journey towards supremacy. This post aims to detail Colony and Orbital rune locations, tips how to easily get it, and other important things to note when you play with this second map. You can refer to the map 1/3 in this post:

This map also provides the lowest amount of Colony runes - totaling only 10 Colony runes but it's the quickest one to finish. Around 30% less than the time of the 2nd map and 50% less time than the longest map.

It is located right after the start of the race within just a few meters away from the starting line. If you're at the left side of the track before the game starts, lucky you because your lane has the shortest route to get those colony (like what you can see on the screenshot below).

Once you reach to that area, a slight drift is only required to get those three. The kind of drift you need to make depends upon your Kart setup too, so always know the "feel" when you are using your Kart to know the exact timing. You can see actual Colony below:

Here you can see the three Colony runes, the first set. Once you get those three runes, after a couple of seconds another three Colony respawns and you can get that on your second lap. If you won't see them in the next lap, it is likely other players have already got it (or waited for it to respond again to get it).

The next set will be the orbital runes which always come in three pieces. Again, the current game design is that you need to get atleast 3 orbital runes to qualify in getting orbital points, which is essential to the orbital leaderboard rewards. If you get more than 3, it is still the same than getting 3 so make sure to only get 3 and allocate the remaining orbitals to other players.

Right when you're about to jump off that cliff. You will see the Orbital runes from a distant area. Make sure to place your position into the left side of the lane to get it fast. It doesn't need a drift, you can drive in a straight line to get the 3 orbitals.

The next set of colony can be found right after you finish that length road after the orbital runes. When the road requires you to drift to the right side, two Colony runes are waiting for you.

It is a little bit challenging to get that two runes in my experience as you need to take consideration to not hit any walls or else your opponent might catch you. What I usually do, I just get that closes Colony rune (left) and continue to drift. It provides me better steering through the lanes.

Last but not the least, is another set of Orbital runes. After all of the drifting, you will encounter an inclined road. Make sure to stay on the right side as it is where the orb set is located.

Again, if you already got the first three orbital runes, no need to get this.
