The bridge that we were cycling on! They light it up so pretty at night.
We tried night cycling and it was AWESOME! Me taking a pic and trying not to fall off the bike
We cycled all the way to McDonalds as a reward, had dinner there and ice-cream of course!Hey hey everyone! This week has been a pretty crazy week at work. There has been so much to do and most people would think that it is year end so things are winding down. But it seems like the opposite for me. Work is ramping up and clients have the habit of... "Here is all the work that need to get done. Now, I am going to be on holiday till next year. Everything but done by then!" And I am like "Duh...I am celebrating Christmas too..." Ok ok I should not complain and should be grateful that we have work to do. I am, I really am.
Anyway, back to my journey of getting fitter, healthier and hopefully thinner... which isn't really happening because all the exercise has caused me to feel even more hungry and want to eat more. LOL! But I do feel better, I sleep better but because I have been so busy at work and with crypto and the kids and the exercise... at the end of the day I am just exhausted! Actually it's just the sleep. I don't get enough so I just need to really discipline myself to sleep earlier! I am trying to get 7 hours a day which means that I need to sleep by 12 am latest but I have been sleeping on average at 1-2 am in the morning. I know some people who wake up at 2 am to do stuff.
Hubby trying to indoor rock climb. His first time I think.
My first time definitely! Got stuck near the top as I was getting tired. LOL!This week has been a fruitful week for us. We managed to get in at least 4 cycling sessions and today, we about 2 hours of cycling and then headed to the indoor wall climbing center. The kids had done it once before two weeks ago. But today Hubby and I plucked up some courage and decide to try and scale the beginner's wall. Yup the one that the kiddos were climbing up and down and up and down and up and down... LOL! Kids will be kids.
I am so enjoying this December! Life is really so good! The lockdowns have really given me a deep appreciation for the outdoors. Before this, I think I took it for granted. So once again these last two years have thought me a lot of really good things and I really thank God for that.
Tomorrow we are going to head over to my parents place as we haven't seen them for two week now. We are still deciding between hiking and cycling though I would much prefer cycling and even another round of wall climbing... just that hiking would be with friends and that would be more fun for the kiddos. We'll see...
Ok that's it for today! Hope that your weekend is as awesome as ours and Christmas it coming!!!!
Xoxo,
Khim
