"Night Whispers"
Though clouds break,
Retreat into the shadows I must.
For whispers pervade my sentience,
baring long suppressed memories.
Out of the dark I fall,
into the light that breeds illumination.
Doing so
lifts the weight of my misdeeds
perpetrated for envy's sake.
Strangling my mind with sorrow.
Covering my soul with regret.
My mindset for this current mixed media art project took me to a place where I could imagine past actions. Does one relish ore regret them. It all depends of the moral fiber of an individual. The scene depicts a person's journey.
Below are my steps in which I began with a stable diffusion image of a fantasy eye. The other image I relied upon to provide an eerie sense of foreboding as background noise depicting one's consciousness was a pure fractal I created in the advanced fractal rendering program, Apophysis 7X.

The remaining two images rounded out my scene. The most important one was the man whose face is obscured as he hides it in his hands. The image speaks of some type of tragedy he experienced. I chose to address it as a regret for some past action taken.
The second photo of the female I only utilized for the mirror effects. Eliminating the female presented me the opportunity to enhance the wavy effects to represent the pool of uncertainty the man now finds himself deep in.
Taking the images to Canva, my design program, I was able to blend them into a poignant scene. To accomplish this, I began with a blank, white canvas. I then add layers of elements in accordance with my upgraded Annual Pro Membership that includes tools to remove backgrounds, resize, filter, duplicate, and reposition items as required.
