Today, Friday, May 2, is a historic date for the development of education in our country, Indonesia. Because on that date it is commemorated as National Education Day. On this day, all government agencies hold ceremonies to commemorate National Education Day. And I am one of those who participated in the ceremony with other colleagues.

"Universal Participation in Realizing Quality Education for All", that is the theme carried in the ceremony to commemorate National Education Day in 2025. We solemnly attended the sub-district level ceremony centered at State Junior High School 1 Bojonggede. With this theme, it is hoped that all parties will participate in realizing the ideals of the proclamation of independence of the Republic of Indonesia as written in the country's constitution, namely to educate the nation's life. All components of society are expected to be able to contribute to educational activities for all children of the nation, so that quality and sustainable education is realized.

It seems that what was mandated by the father of Indonesian National Education, Ki Hadjar Dewantara, who said, "Make every place a school and everyone a teacher". In this message, of course, we can take the wisdom that learning can occur anywhere. Schools are only official institutions that give a signal that it is a place of learning, but in essence we can make every place a means of learning, so that the learning process is not always in school but the learning process can occur anywhere.
"Make everyone a teacher", from this short message we can also take the wisdom that everyone can provide knowledge, skills, values and attitudes to everyone. Or in other words that we can take lessons from everyone we meet. Thus everyone can contribute to creating learning because everyone has unique knowledge, experience, skills and attitudes that can be shared with others.
Ki Hadjar Dewantara as the Father of Indonesian National Education has laid the foundations of education for all in an effort to help educate the nation's life. With the principle of lifelong education, we realize that education is a process that must be gone through from childhood to adulthood to old age, that is a continuous education process.
In the message of the ceremony instructor at the commemoration of National Education Day this year, it has been clearly conveyed that education must be a shared responsibility between families, educational institutions, society and government. All are one package to jointly realize the success of quality, high-quality and sustainable education so that the ideals of enlightening the nation's life can be achieved.
Here I share some photos after the National Education Day ceremony this year.
