Outside the sail room...Kerrisl stopped in her tracks, glancing back towards the sudden noise!
"Sail room!" She whispered as she glanced up at Bleujay and Tamara with one raised eyebrow. Slowly…she led the way back to the open door.
Inside the dusty room, Ripper darted a death glare at Stank for his revealing outburst, but could say nothing. Silently the long mussel of a musket barrel appeared in the gap of the door and slowly began to open it!
Ripper knew he only had moments to react and with a sudden, jarring move, he fired through the wall just to the right of the door!
Wood shards and splinters burst through the corridor outside as Commander Kerrislravenhill fell backwards against the far wall!
“Doon! Doon! Aw’ fowk doon!” She yelled out as she braced her back against the wall and returned fire through the same wall with her musket!
Inside the sail room, Rank keeled over and coughed his last as Ripper, Fard and Stank pulled out their pistols and open fire at the door!
Imediately, Able Seaman Tamaralovelace felt a stinging pain in her left shoulder!
“I’m hit! I’m hit!” She whispered urgently as she rolled onto her side and fired her own pistol into the door!
Cockpit Mate Bleujay and Commander Kerrisl did the same and the corridor filled with blue smoke!
“Tamara! Tamara, Ur ye alright?!” Kerrisl whispered into the fog.
