Hi Steemians!
Last night I decided to remaster one of my tracks and freshen it up a bit. This one is entitled "Layered Drift" and I spent a good week producing this one. It's quite melodic, especially the second half the track and also a little off-beat with the drums.
The inspiration behind this track was the fact I was getting very saddened by incessant geo-engineering going on all that summer in our skies. I would wake up at 7am and the skies would be beautiful blue, then the planes came out of nowhere creating a grid above my head, then by 10am the lines had expanded and developed into a thick blanket of haze. So, as I was missing the sun and blue sky all that summer, it was particularly bad that year in 2012.
So, I wanted to create some positive vibes, initially for myself to make me feel better and it turned out quite melodic. The second half of the track is the more melodic part as the "hook" I created develops in this part.
