While many of us have explored different parts of India already, but there still exists parts of India which are substantially unexplored. I am a 23 year old PR professional whose love for travelling has been to a different high. From travelling to extravaganza mountain ranges of Maharashtra to the beautiful and scenic beaches of Karnataka, I am on a roll to look for stories with a human touch.
Photography has always been my passion and through my posts and I am going to take you'll through a ride: a scenic & mind boggling experience. Share all those small stories which lets us look at our lives in a different light.
The picture first picture of a sibling is from Alibaug, a small beach town near Mumbai.
The joys of playing on beach is something most of us have forgotten. The idea of golden sands all over our body while you build your small sand castle always ignites the small kid in us.
If you ever are in Mumbai and you are thinking of visiting Alibaug, please dont hesitate. All you need to do is head to Gateway of India and board a ferry for Alibaug. Its almost an hour ride to the base port of Alibaug. After docking, you need to take either a private Omni Ride towards Alibaug or there are options of State Transport buses from the dock.
Cost of Ferry: Apprx. Rs. 90
Cost of Private Omni Ride: Rs. 100 to Rs. 120
Cost of State Transport Bus: Rs. 72
If at all you arent really keen on travelling with anyone, you can also hire a cycle for yourself and ride it through the long stretch of Alibaug beach. The ride will take you around 2 hours depending on your endurance levels and cycling speed.
