Hello everyone my name is Ovey Amos Abene
"The name “OVEY" is an Eggon name that means, "thanksgiving" in English. My parents named me “OVEY"because the gap between me and my elder sister is a five(5) years gap. My parents thought they would never have another child again. The second reason I was named OVEY IS that, my mum gave birth to me almost immediately, just 30 minutes after arriving at the hospital. As if I was eager to see the world and my family

MY EDUCATIONAL STATUS: I attended st peter's nursery and primary school Akwanga. My primary school journey lasted for nine(9) years, from pre-nursery to primary five(5).
I served as the health prefect and I was one of the best graduating student.
I then furthered to demonstration secondary school Akwanga, I was still the health prefect again in secondary school. If the university system were appointing prefects, I will still be the health prefect😅
........after secondary school, I applied FEDERAL UNIVERSITY LAFIA to study medicine and surgery but I didn't secure admission last year, please help me pray that I will get admission this time around.
MY AVOCATION: Instead of staying idle at home, I joined my father to go to the farm, were we cultivate maize, guinea corn, beans etc.
We are not full time farmers, still in the subsistence level of agriculture for now
and I also love to cook because I love food but sometimes, I cook just to show the ladies that men can do it better 😄
MY CULTURE: From the name ovey, you should have a clue about my tribe. I am eggon by tribe, ENDE CLAN specifically from Nasarawa eggon but I reside in Akwanga
MY SPIRITUAL LIFE: Am a child of God, I worship with the Rechabites family worship network international were I serve as the Asst. HOD of my department, It is a place where the lord is raising a New breed from Zion
As a child of God, I know that coming to church alone will not suffice, so I joined the BOYS BRIGADE NIGERIA when I was twelve years old (12) as a means to render my services to the lord.
Generally about me: I Love music and poetry, I consider them as tools I can use to truly express myself, I use them as weapons of hope, peace and joy. My love for music made me wrote two songs which I will be sharing with all of you soon.
My hive tutor: I attended the hive orientation class which was organized by Mr. @ovey10 where I learnt the basic rules of hive like (i) No plagiarism,(ii) No spamming and so many other basic principles that regulates the hive block chain. I was made to go through this orientation class before the onboarding process so that I will get a clear picture of how the hive block chain works
Conclusion: learning about HIVE has made me so happy and excited. I can't wait to explore, and make friends with new people. Above all, I can't wait to start posting my contents and watch other people contents as well
