Life Is A Teacher, Nothing Is Perfect
Constant change always a strong reminder through nature how time and tide waits for no one, Moon waxing at the start of the month. Started off with a bumper move of completing the awnings around the home, now waiting on signed off document by municipality and the house plans are all in order once again. It has taken over a year to get done, sigh of relief.
Cheeky the Pin-tailed Whydah bird's long tail will disappear within the next couple of weeks, now back to normal, no longer chasing everything that moves around bird feeder.
Croton bush is in flower with many more stems appearing, well established, I think back, this bush is now almost forty years since I planted three varieties when working at the sugar mill where they had a nursery. Down the hill close to home, quick access to my young boys. Sugar mill is where Illovo Syrup was made, special laboratory for testing various tastes being added at the time.
Before snow arrived early this year inland, the late evening sky reflected change was happening once again, I seldom see sunrises, but make up on sunsets daily being a wonderful time outdoors at the end of each day.
Walk in the park young wild female watched our approach with her kitten close, would be gone in a split second had we disturbed her little time of rest in the late afternoon sun, no little lady enjoy your time as life goes on.
Purple heart flower, now entering our Winter months, it's delightful witnessing colours nature has on offer all year living sub-tropical. Although my heart yearns to be inland at this time of year with fields of cosmos in flower now, leaves in Autumn shades gold, red, russet, only a couple of hours drive away.
Full moon without clouds around actually next night clear, rain with flood warning going out once again, thankfully not hit quite as hard as many other places have been in the last month.
Butterflies fill the garden daily when the sun is shining bringing more joy of late, how can anyone not stop to reflect in their stunning beauty?
Insects in all shapes and forms pop up patrolling there is plenty of food for everyone on wing or with legs.
Bubbling clouds hanging around, it has cooled down, now my time of year to thrive, motivated to start tackling those chores that normally I avoid due to the heat and humidity.
It's never nice to lose someone close to you, unfortunately, life goes on, and we have to make peace with it and move on.
