The Velocissimo Effect:
Have you every stopped to ponder on the true nature of it? Whether you approach this topic from a purely scientific discipline, spiritual or otherwise; the very essence of light and all of its wonders continue to allude the most knowledgeable of us. I first became amazed at both the breadth and depth of light application across the universe, when told – every colour that we see, is actually the colour NOT being reflected, but the light range / vibration being absorbed!
What a cunning trick, this seemingly simple agent plays on us all. One could argue, this is merely biology and I could personally list many optical illusions to support this view; however, the scope of light's application, understanding and perception goes far beyond the realms of the physical. From Gamma, X-, Ultraviolet and infrared rays, through to radio waves; light takes many forms and applies many affects / effects in that given manifest.
I've been attempting to write this article for months now, as I truly believe the science (particularly relativity) on the subject, just doesn't seem right to me. For instance, the assumption light-speed is the fastest one can travel; hence time-travel is improbable and the universe is (simply put) constant. Most Scientific folk would express light with the given equation c = λ ∙ v; however, as alluded to earlier, light is able to outwit and mystify the most savvy.
Meeting this idea of max light-speed head-on and presenting a few concepts as to why I feel it's incorrect; my wish would be to define this light as a contact as a the lazy crutch of the Mathematician. For example, general relativity suggests electromagnetic force are able to radically alter the path of starlight; present a different position in the night sky, during an ecliptic event. Therefore, it would stand to reason then, that said electromagnetic forces could both increase or decease the speed. To be more precise, I'd argue the speed of light is subject to the electromagnetic field in which it travels.
Whether the electromagnetic energy omitted from a virgin sun or distant start is traveling equal or less than the speed of light, according to these observation, light can be influence and manipulated across the vast distances of space. So why is this so important? Because, the speed of light has a directly congruence with time; therefore, if this is truly the case, then any light being produced by a sun, will be instantly forced back in time, and never be perceived at its time of genesis.
For example, if you could slowly travel faster that the path of light coming from an LED bedside clock, you would see the seconds / minutes / hours moving in reverse. Continuing on this course, you would eventually see past the point in which the clock was first switched on and even beyond it construction. Similarly, if the light being given super velocity by electromagnetic field generated by our sun was to be assess under is assumption, then sun's ray would illuminate the past and past events. The base equation revised as this: c = B(λ ∙ v);
My hope is this short article will serve as an explanation and supporting text, to my previous paper on Time and help disrupt the static ideas of light and time. Nonetheless, it does serve as a type of catharsis, as I've been wishing to express my ideas in this field for sometime, and may expand upon these core paradoxical points once hard evidence can be derived.
