Hello Everyone
Welcome to my entry to the topic for this week's Hive Reachout write.
SOURCEI have seen different kinds of marriages that are interesting and nice.
But in all, I certainly have my choice and how I want my marriage to go despite all I have seen so far.
Hopefully, my spouse will agree to it or would have a slight difference.
I have always discussed having these kinds of marriage with my first.
I would want to first do the traditional marriage because I have come to appreciate tradition and the benefits of following this line.
It won't just end here because I would want us to proceed to the court marriage after the traditional wedding.
My reason for a court marriage is for us to legally register our marriage.
Because with a legal marriage certificate we can go to places more than just our country as husband and wife.
Truth is, I have more than a reason for wanting this court marriage because the world is evolving, and most marriages that don't go through the legal process are limited to most things in society.
I advised a friend of mine whom the husband is based in another country to encourage the husband so they could go to court and register their marriage.
She was reluctant about it.
It has been 1 year plus now, she hasn't seen the husband and can't travel to meet him.
There is another case of a man who married the first wife by only doing the traditional marriage.
And the second wife through court marriage.
The second wife now has a lot of advantages more than the first wife.
Some even address her as the first lady because the husband is a politician.
I like court marriage too because it encourages one husband and one wife
I believe with us going through a court marriage will assure me that it is only I and I alone.
Incase, he wakes up tomorrow to make any lame excuse of getting a second wife.
It would cost him.
Or we decide to dissolve the marriage, going through the process would make us gibe up and focus on making the marriage work.
That doesn't mean that we will tie ourselves to a marriage that isn't working.
In as much as love will be carrying me to where I don't know.
I would appreciate it if I did a traditional marriage,then court marriage and church marriage.
We can go for marriage blessings later, but the two must first be done.
