Ingredients
500 gr. Of flour
250 gr. of butter
1 egg
1/2 tablespoon of salt
Water
White hard cheese (preferably not very salty llanero) cut into sticks of about 7x2 cm.
Abundant oil
Preparation
Place the flour in the form of a crown on a counter, add the salt, butter and egg, mix well and gradually add warm water as required to form a soft and elastic dough, knead well and let stand at least ½ hour . Cut the dough into two pieces and have a large counter and a rolling pin to spread the dough, sprinkle a little flour and spread evenly until the dough is thin, cut uniform strips, and with them line the cheese sticks very well, try to stretch the dough very well when lining the sticks and do not leave gaps so that the cheese does not escape.

Heat a generous amount of oil in a large pan or pot and fry the tequeños until golden brown.
