Impossible to ignore her, I swear, Uzaki is determined to get Shinichi out of his cave, to give him a push to leave that boring life... from the beginning, their kind of weird friendship already seems to leave us with some great moments of laughter and also some more emotional ones.
Seeing Shinichi's faces when Uzaki drags him into her crazy plans is pure gold, it's funny and adorable at the same time, in a way... at first, he refuses to die, he prefers his solitude and that's it, but little by little, he begins to get the hang of Uzaki's inexhaustible energy. Meanwhile, Uzaki, in his own way, is also learning that sometimes calm doesn't hurt... their relationship is changing and finding a balance between chaos and calm, I found it entertaining... The humor in this anime is simple, uncomplicated, it's not that they want to invent the comedy wheel, they just want you to laugh for a while, yes, some jokes are a bit risqué, and yes, sometimes they are repeated a bit or you guess what's going to happen, but I laughed at the absurd situations, the physical humor, like when Shinichi ends up in each mess because of Uzaki. It's like spending the afternoon with that friend who has a weird sense of humor: you may not understand or find all the jokes funny, but he makes you laugh and have a good time, that's what matters.
Hola a todos, amigos fanáticos del anime, espero que estén súper bien en el dÃa de hoy, en esta ocasión quiero hablarles un poco de un anime, bastante curioso, recién termine de ver: Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out y, tengo bastante que decir jaja. Puede ser de esas series que te dejan con una sonrisa genuina, yo no esperaba la gran cosa, pensé: 'ah, una comedia ligerita para pasar el rato', pero no fue solo eso.. La trama sigue a Sakurai Shinichi, un estudiante universitario súper tranquilo, medio antisocial dirÃa yo, que ama su paz y tranquilidad, el tipo disfruta estar solo: en su cuarto, con sus libros, en su rutina.. ahà entra Uzaki, Hana Uzaki, una compañera de clase que es pura energÃa, ¡una cosa loca! Imposible ignorarla, te lo juro, Uzaki está decidida a sacar a Shinichi de su cueva, a darle un empujón para que deje esa vida aburrida.. desde el principio, su amistad medio rara ya pinta para dejarnos momentazos de risa y también algunos más emotivos.
Ver las caras de Shinichi cuando Uzaki lo arrastra a sus planes locos es oro puro, es gracioso y a la vez adorable, de cierta manera.. al principio, él se resiste a morir, prefiere su soledad y punto, pero poco a poco, empieza a agarrarle el gustito a la energÃa inagotable de Uzaki. Mientras tanto, Uzaki, a su manera, también va aprendiendo que a veces la calma no viene mal.. su relación, va cambiando y encontrando un balance entre el desmadre y la calma, a mi me pareció entretenido.. El humor de este anime es sencillo, sin complicaciones, no es que quieran inventar la rueda de la comedia, solo quieren que te rÃas un rato, sÃ, algunos chistes son medio subidos de tono, y sÃ, a veces se repiten un poco o adivinas lo que va a pasar, pero me dieron risa las situaciones absurdas, el humor fÃsico, como cuando Shinichi termina metido en cada lÃo por culpa de Uzaki. Es como pasar la tarde con ese amigo que tiene un humor raro: capaz que no entiendes o te divierten todas las bromas, pero te hace reÃr y pasar un buen rato, eso es lo que importa.
Speaking of Uzaki, I was also curious about all the fuss that was made when the series came out because of her design, right? That if many critics started judging the anime only by how Uzaki looked, with her attributes... let's say... exaggerated, and they discarded her without giving her a chance, some also argued that she was somewhat unrealistic, but, let's see, looking at it carefully, you realize that Uzaki is much more than that, her striking design is just one part of a character that puts brutal energy and charisma into each scene... the series doesn't take itself very seriously either, and that relaxed vibe makes those criticisms sound like pure show, like they exaggerated a bit. The chemistry between Shinichi and Uzaki, ugh! one of the best of the anime, their jokes are constant, and you can see how they understand each other better and better naturally, over time... as they become more friends, you see that there is a real connection, not the typical cliché of "opposites attract", but something more real, more organic, their relationship grows in a tender and fun way, which makes you think that these unexpected friendships can change your perspective on life.
Hablando de Uzaki, también me dio curiosidad todo el problema que se armó cuando salió la serie por su diseño, ¿no? Que si muchos crÃticos se pusieron a juzgar el anime solo por cómo se veÃa Uzaki, con sus atributos... digamos... exagerados, y la desecharon sin darle chance, también algunos argumentaron que era algo poco realista, pero, a ver, viéndola bien, te das cuenta de que Uzaki es mucho más que eso, su diseño llamativo es solo una parte de un personaje que le pone una energÃa y un carisma brutales a cada escena.. la serie tampoco se toma muy en serio a sà misma, y esa onda relajada hace que esas crÃticas suenen como puro show, como que exageraron un poco. La quÃmica entre Shinichi y Uzaki, ¡uff! de lo mejor del anime, sus bromas son constantes, y se nota cómo se van entendiendo cada vez mejor de forma natural, con el tiempo.. a medida que se hacen más amigos, ves que hay una conexión de verdad, no el tÃpico cliché de "los opuestos se atraen", sino algo más real, más orgánico, su relación va creciendo de una forma tierna y divertida, que te hace pensar que esas amistades inesperadas sà que te pueden cambiar la perspectiva de la vida.
Another thing I really liked is how they touch on themes like friendship, socializing and getting out of the comfort zone. Uzaki's attempts to get Shinichi out for a walk around the university, to enjoy life a little more, are super entertaining and, at the same time, they make you think... because, let's be honest, who hasn't ever felt too comfortable in their routine? And sometimes, a little push, even if it's exaggerated and comical like Uzaki's, changes your life. Seeing how Shinichi opens up little by little reminded me that sometimes, to grow a little, you have to let a little disorder into life, a little chaos!
I also thought it was great how they adapted Takei's original manga. I've seen that there are some different things, in the rhythm and in some details, but the essence of the manga is there, intact... the series gave more agility to the story to focus on the comedy and the relationship between these two. Yes, maybe some more purist manga fans will miss some things, but for me, the adaptation captured the most important parts of the story well, and kept it fun and easy to watch.
Otra cosa que me gustó un montón es cómo tocan temas como la amistad, socializar y salir de la zona de confort, los intentos de Uzaki de sacar a Shinichi a pasear por la universidad, de que disfrute un poco más la vida, son súper entretenidos y, a la vez, te hacen pensar.. porque, seamos sinceros, ¿quién no se ha sentido alguna vez demasiado cómodo en su rutina? Y a veces, un empujoncito, aunque sea exagerado y cómico como el de Uzaki, te cambia la vida, ver cómo Shinichi se va abriendo poco a poco me hizo recordar que a veces, para crecer un poco, hay que dejar entrar un poquito de desorden a la vida, ¡un poquito de caos!
También me pareció genial cómo adaptaron el manga original de Takei, he visto que hay cositas diferentes, en el ritmo y en algunos detalles, pero la esencia del manga está ahÃ, intacta.. la serie le dio más agilidad a la historia para enfocarse en la comedia y en la relación de estos dos, sÃ, tal vez y algún fanático del manga más purista extrañe algunas cositas, pero para mÃ, la adaptación capturó bien lo más importante de la historia, y la mantuvo divertida y fácil de ver.

It's like that friend who bothers you and bothers you so that you go out when all you want is to stay in bed watching series, although at first I was kind of skeptical, I ended up waiting for each chapter, to see what new madness Uzaki was going to invent to bother Shinichi.
It even made me think a little about my own life, could it be that I need a little more madness? Hay algunos episodios donde la historia se pone un poco obvia y el humor a veces se va un poquito estúpido, seamos sinceros, que tampoco es que busca ser una obra de arte, solo que te rÃas un poco.. que se repitan algunas bromas o situaciones, pues es tÃpico en este tipo de animes, es parte del combo para que te rÃas de verdad, para alguien como yo, que normalmente ve animes más serios, más de pensar, Uzaki-chan fue como un shot de energÃa. Es como ese amigo que te jode y te jode para que salgas cuando tú lo único que quieres es quedarte viendo series en tu camita, aunque al principio estaba medio escéptico, terminé esperando cada capÃtulo, a ver qué nueva locura iba a inventar Uzaki para molestar a Shinichi.
Hasta me hizo pensar un poco en mi propia vida, ¿será que necesito un poco más de desmadre?
